I did the 2-0 Cisse FGS and got 28/1 which isnt too bad. You obviously have a better bookie than me, bet365 were giving me 16/1 and only 23/1 for Cisse to score a hattrick, think they might be scared of him
-
Was going to put a quid on 2-0 Cisse first scorer again as it's won me so much lovely money last few games, but the odds were shit so went for 2-0 Ben Arfa first scorer at 30/1 instead

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits he fears Newcastle United's late run for a top-four finish. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/7660764/

Already got more Fantasy Football points than Torres, and once he gets his bonus points he'll be above Carroll as well.

What they fuck were they expecting Vorm to do about that?! Do they think if he'd run to his back fucking post when the ball came through that Cisse would still have tried an audacious lob that Vorm would have saved rather than just tapping it in to the yards of empty net the keeper had just left in front of him?

What a fucking finish. Pretty much the only thing he could do to guarantee it going in.

@LiterallyJamie Is it racist to suggest that Papiss Cisse looks like a Jar Jar Binks Easter egg? If so, please ignore this comment.

I'm going for Rooney simply because the guy in first place in the only league I have money on doesn't have him and I need to make up ground, so us both having RVP as captain is going to get me fucking nowhere.
-
If it ends up we need 5th for Europe and we finish below Chelsea, Luiz not being sent off is going to really stick in my fucking throat. In all likelihood we would have beaten them and not had Taylor injured, keeping together the excellent defence we started with. If Everton get to the final I suppose we want Chelsea to join them. Not only an extra game for them but they'd know they were definitely in Europe from a runner's up spot at least, so they could stop giving a fuck about the league altogether, unless Spurs or Arsenal fuck up and they get a sniff at 4th.

I know Chelsea have got a strong squad, but check out the four fixtures they've got in the space of nine days between the 15th and 24th of April http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/fixtures Playing teams of that quality in that space of time would leave any team utterly fucked for their next few premier league matches.
-
Tough match, but with Chelsea playing Wigan we could really do with a win to keep ourselves level and give us the best chance of nicking ahead during the really tough period they have coming up where they're playing about 5 of the world's top teams in a row.

About 10 pages of 1950s humour along the lines of of "Hahaha, I can't tell who it is in the picture. Know what I mean? Haha, you cannit see em in the dark can you, ey? Unless they smile, then it's like a set of teeth hovverin in the air, innit? Hahaha. Heard they bath in coal." etc.

 You can't say anything on there man. Reminds me of that thread where someone asked if their game was on anywhere in Barcelona and he got shot down because they said he was bragging. They really are a sad bunch of cretins. It's like a board full of Moe Syzlaks "Anyone know somewhere good to get some food before the game?" "Oooh, oooh, look at me, I'm going to eat a hot meal. Well lah-dee-dah your highness"
-
its the last 3 games that worry me, not many harder games[...]. Be interesting if it went down to the final weekend though as while Everton is tough they shouldn't have anything to play for but Chelsea are playing Blackburn who might need to win or get a result to stop up. Yes she did, and so did you when you quoted it.

Alan Pardew says Papiss Cisse has 'confidence oozing out of him' but insists he never doubted the striker would be anything but a big hit at Newcastle. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/7647014/

It's hardly a mystery really, he was by far our best asset so we built the entire team around him, set up to play to his strengths and had him playing 90 minutes of pretty much every game, which is important when you still need experience. Liverpool have a load of other players who they've spent a load on, are paying a fuck load and who Kenny wants to keep sweet, all of whom need different set ups to play to their strengths. Even if he wasn't clearly unhappy, there's no way Kenny could get the same 35m player he thought he saw at Newcastle out of him.

I knew they'd try this one sooner or later. Do we get to discount the part of the season we 'lost' when Kinnear was in charge and make a claim for NETD the season we went down based on only looking at games when Shearer was in charge?
-
Think Carroll was just so low on confidence he was terrified of rounding the keeper and missing an open goal, so went for the pen instead.
-
When we sold him we told Dalglish he was a canny player, and I think he's found out that's true. He canny run, he canny jump, he canny shoot and he definitely canny score.
