we are top of the league, say we are top of the league

Get in, no way do we deserve a point here

If we've lost the ability to play shit and win anyway we're in trouble this season. If we end up in the playoffs we might as well not bother going because the team we play will be well up for it and cock all over us.
-
Game over, looked deflated at 0-0 and heads are gonna go down now because we've got no passion, drive or motivation to take a game by the scruff off the neck. Can't see us getting back on top easily.
-
Nowts each written all over this one, if anyone wins it it's gonna be these vowel hating leek munchers.

Good job Swansea are doing our defending for us.
-
Swansea with 80% posession this half so far, good to see Chris really got them up for it at half time.
-
Let's hope he doesn't let them have the half-time nap they seem to be waking up from in the first five minutes of every second half.

This game has been fucking dross, wonder if Sky are reconsidering putting us on telly every weekend.

That because we 'only' have 6 players in our Championship squad that are premier league quality we'll never again be a big player, ever? Will any Championship club ever make it big in the premiership then? Who were Stoke and Birmingham, the current teams that seem to be going in an upwards direction, buying when they were in the Championship, Messi and Ronaldo? In ten years time, no matter who owns the club, who's playing for the team or what happens elsewhere we'll be doomed to eternal mediocrity because in 2010 we bought Leon Best? Guess we should be going for another Luque or Michael Owen, that seemed to work.

Why Newcastle transfer window signings suggest the club will never again be a major player

I'm not sure what the rules are on a club going totally out of busines, it's highly unlikely that it would happen to Cardiff at this stage, they may go into recievership but the process of actually dissapearing from existence takes a little longer than the 3 months or so we have left in the season. Just look at how long the pompey debacle has taken. Anyway not sure the rules it's certainly not fair to the teams, like ourselves who've done well against Cardiff, and impacts other fixtures, you would take a different approach to a game knowing that you had less points than you did. But like I said it's a moot point, as it's not going to happen. The reasoning behind writing off all previous fixtures is because you can't have some teams playing less games than others. Would be a bit of a sickener to miss out on promotion by 2 points when you had a game in hand.

Unfortunately, that's true, would love to see him get sent down, but it's not gonna happen Fingers crossed the CPS, HMRC and the judge realise that's what everyone in the country thinks and will go all out to make an example of him.
-
To be fair he qualified it by saying some Newcastle fans were just as bad, but he's pretty maddened by the the number of crazed and deluded Spurs forumites.
-
Just the new owners trying to tighten things up I think.

A mate of mine who's a Spurs fan said to me last night "What do you think of Spurs fans on the internet?" I just gave him a knowing look and he immediately said "Yeah, dicks, aren't they."

WBA fans are getting quite excited by the prospect of Cardiff going bust because it would cost us 6 points and Forest 4, whereas they'd lose no points as it stands (They lost to them once and play them again on Tuesday). Plus us and Forest still have to play each other. If West Brom lose on Tuesday we might need to have a bit of a cushion in order to not worry about Cardiff suddenly imploding with two games to go and changing everything.
-
You can also buy the Forest match and their Milwall FA Cup replay, think they do one for most wins.

Can't be worse than some of the penis-wielding whistlers we've encountered.
-
What are they going to do for those 7 days, buy scratchcards?

I think the majority of football fans would feel sorry for any club who goes under. I'd feel sorry for the Mackems, no doubt. Southampton fans don't seem to have much sympathy, going off their message boards considering what they went through in the summer you'd think they'd have sympathy but then again maybe pompey fans were not so kind back then I imagine after their fall from the glory days of Le Tissier, seeing their local rivals playing good football in the top tier and winning the FA Cup they've felt pretty down-trodden for a while, not surprised to see them relish it.
-
Problem is, now the 'experiment' of playing positive football away from home appears to have failed I wonder if we'll see anything other than 4-5-1 away from St Jame's for the rest of the season.

Couldn't put a date on my first game I went to with my dad, think I was 8 or 9 which would make it 89/90. Can't remember who we played but it was 0-0 and I spent most of the game reading a Transformers comic. Asked if we could leave at half time and my dad just laughed. He obviously didn't take a hint because we started going regularly not long after and as far as I know we still sit in those seats in the east stand today. Remember getting Jim Smith's autograph on a stadium tour or something not long after that. Never made any decision to become a Newcastle fan, it was just taken as read.
