  1. Juve after benny apparently. Issued a statement saying it was flattering, big club etc but is happy at Liverpool. Hmm.
  2. Fuckign hell, didn't realise both his parents were murdered http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/opinion/columnists/oliver-holt/Crystal-Palace-starlet-Victor-Moses-was-playing-street-football-with-a-sticky-tape-ball-when-he-heard-both-his-parents-had-been-murdered-article53720.html
  3. Will we play him in the typical number 9 role? Haven't really seen enough of him to know.
  4. Met the price they value him at is. Sign him or do not, there is no try.
  5. Forest, Newcastle and WBA are fighting over him and he's holding out for Real Madrid? Do people think before they say these things?
  6. What, they've started selling Moses bobbleheads in the club shop? Howay man
  7. surprised Arsenal haven`t bid for him. Hopefully they don`t.... Would he want to do what Wallcot did though? Go from the next big thing to a long term bit-part player?
  8. Craig David on now, NUFC optimistic, sources close to Moses say we're his preferred choice, got a taste of St Jame's the other night and CD speculates that he was impressed and that's where his agent's "footballing decision" comes from.
  9. Who is running NUFC and what have they done with Mike Ashley?
  10. Isn't there a Mexican player who's actually called something like Juan Sies? We could get him an all.
  11. Maybe we should just go behind the scenes and call Man City, say you lot buy him and loan him to us. Does no-one any good if he's sitting on a prem team's bench.
  12. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/north-east-news/todays-evening-chronicle/2009/05/28/nile-ranger-thrilled-after-scoring-for-england-72703-23733325/ The chemistry's already there
  13. Fucking hell, if we get this lad as well as Routledge and Williamson colour me pleasantly surprised. Still, got a fair bit of competition for the lad so not sure of our chances.
  14. Should turn up at the derby match to scout them, sure he'll get a warm reception from both sets of fans
  15. Can imagine people sitting in the pub instinctively ducking when Wenger's nose sweeps over their heads.
  16. Surely they'd let Soton go through instead. Imagine that was Pompys last ever match? Part of me would like to see the southamption fans showing sympathy, putting aside the local hatred and rivalries and showing some solidarity. Another part of me wants to hear what absolutely cuntish chants they come up with
  17. Must be a hangover from Calvinism, kids in Essex grow up and start supporting Man U so they can celebrate every year, kids in Glasgow start supporting us so they can moan and be dour all the time
  18. can't even afford the hosting bills...maybe they can sell a few web developers. They signed up a web developer on a £2,000 commision, but then they realised that the contract they signed meant if a website design that he created was actually used they'd have to give him a million quid and a nosh off Avram Grant's wife.
  19. Pretty terrifying time to be a football fan, don't think the top teams are immune either looking at the jaw-dropping debt figures on Man U and Liverpool's books. Plaything teams like Man City and Chelsea at least have someone with a load of cash to inject rather than taking on debts, but an Enron style collapse of one of their owner's main companies could easily see the club seized as assests and stripped. I think we'll see clubs that have been living within their means like Villa and Everton really starting to challenge. Arsenal seem to have done it the right way as well, bringing youth through that they can cash in on, developing young talents rather than buying ready made galacticos and owning their stadium outright instead of owing money on it.
  20. That or someone like Liverpool robbing him off them. Certainly at the wrong end of the form table, like 18 - Hull (3 points from 6 games) 19 - Mackems (2 points from 6 games) 20 - Burnley (2 points from 6 games) Two of the teams below them in Bolton and West Ham have had morale boosting changes recently as well, could start looking rather ominous.
  21. Singing about us only being there for the famous team, strange their highest attendence of the season was when they played us (more of them turned out to watch Newcastle than Derby for fucks sake!) and they celebrated like they'd won the league. Guess it's the footballing highlight of a lifetime for any Forest fan born in the last two decades... Also, singing about us "signing on" as if their scab "working miners" are still merrily whistling home from work with a paycheck and a pickaxe on their shoulder. Good weekend apart from the footy mind, managed not to get shot at least
  22. This came on the juke box yesterday and gave me major nostalgia about sitting in the car after matches in the 90's when they used to play it over the highlights on the radio.
