  1. "The more we talk about conceding early, the worse it seems to get." What an incredible admission of abject failure. We know what the problem is, I've told them not to do it, I've suggested how not to do it, but it keeps getting worse. What could this mean?
  2. I mean I'd be surprised if he made it to 2023, but he does have a habit of hanging around.
  3. Understandably harsh "You're fired Steve." "OK, I'll pick up my payoff and clear out my desk" "Nono, Steve, not from the club. From life."
  4. So if Huddersfield and Coventry win their games in hand he'd be bottom. Rock fucking bottom. Didn't he take over with them in 5th or something?

  6. A classic that popped into my head yesterday
  7. Dunno why Richard Keys is on our dick all of a sudden after slagging us off for years, he defended us complaining about the Liverpool winner as well. Maybe we're oil money friends now.

I thought casuals were called casuals because they took pride in doing their hooligan clownery while decked out in overpriced smart casual gear like £300 Stone Island jumpers? Why do these lot look like they've got dressed in the TK Maxx bargain bin in the dark? Lad at the front has shoes sponsored by Barrat's Fruit Salads.

  10. Only One United Only One Queen Then Amanda with a crown photoshopped on. I've sent over a fiver.
  11. That makes sense, if you're going to use the Queen at all I wouldn't feature her at present, it would be much better to use a picture of her when she was alive.

Neer heard of him, would hae guessed he was a Tory MP
  13. Prediction: Because the focus has been on referees wrongly overturning goals after looking at VAR (and Michael Oliver was praised for being possibly the first to stick to his guns even after some old twat in his ear asked him to look at the screen) for the next few weeks there's going to be a knee-jerk the other way with refs reluctant to rule a goal out even after looking at VAR and seeing there was a potential infringement. And one of these dodgy goals that stands as a result is going to go against us.
  14. What "lesson" can they take from that? To actually look at the entire incident and apply the rules of the game? Could they not have given that lesson at the start of the season? Are they going to explain what they've actually changed which will stop the same thing happening next weekend?
  15. Are people actually expecting them to admit they were wrong? I'm fully prepared for some bullshit like "Mendy was hit by a deliberate trailing foot, Willock was in a position which was obstructing the keeper before the contact was made by the Palace player and therefore the decision to disallow the goal was was made in phase three of the four phases which made up the incident and so infringements made in phase four do not count unless the square root of the..."
  16. I think they hoped VAR would prevent referees dropping clangers and looking like they don't know what they're doing, but it's done the opposite. You have plausible deniability pre-VAR, you can say "Ah, I just didn't see it, we're only human". Now we've found that the people in charge of applying the rules literally don't know what the laws of the game are. City match last year being a case in point, not a penalty because it was an off the ball challenge.
