We came close, then had a flacid shot. 10 seconds later Gerrard nearly scores again.
-
Sigh. The Gerrard and Torres show is going to have implications for my fantasy leagues as well, knew I should have brought them in.
-
Just what we need, really rotten luck. As if things weren't going to be hard enough.
-
Gerrard diving in the box again Freak goal, fuck.

Brought forward to 1pm on police advice http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10278~1259485,00.html

Everyone They wont next gameweek though, man U don't feature. Think Anelka will play against Derby? Trying to work out if I should swap Tevez for him or Yakubu
-
Would have liked us to get Benjani to be honest, at least he knows where the goal is which is more than any of our lot seem to at the moment.

Lots of trouble in town on Saturday night apparently, frustrations spilling over...
-
Good atmosphere yesterday as well like. Well, for a home match.
-
Actually want to like the lad but I'm finding it difficult at times both on and off the pitch.
-
We can take some positives out of yesterday like, we did look the better team. Sadly we still never look like scoring, no matter how many chances we create.

Or "Owen: Liverpool game is unwinnable"

I'll have you know my lookie-likey from behind the bar actually turned up in a shirt from (I presume) the same eBay seller, but in blue and with much bigger koi carp on it. So I've started a trend Anyway, Bafe, Bafetimbi, Bafe, Bafetimbi, Bafe, Bafetimbi. Bafetimbi Gomis... Aye, kind of works, get him signed up.
-
We came up a cunning plan to foil this tactic when we went to the away match by getting up at 6:30am for a lock-in. Take that coppers!
-
Don't know if it was just the sound mix on the telly, but it sounded utterly dead. You could hear individual people - not just people shouting, but people just raising their voice. Sounded like a Sunday league match.

From Ronaldo's interview on possible retirement "Logically, no club wants a 31-year-old player who has had two operations, suffered terrible injuries to his knees and is doubtful to play again. " Don't bet on it Ronny

Relegation - will we or won't we? *NO FIXTURE LISTS PLEASE*
BlueStar replied to ChrisJbarnes's topic in Football
We're going to have to spunk a serious amount of cash on this squad Maybe we can compensate for the fact we're an incredibly unattractive employer in our current position by at least give the impression that we're doing a mini Chelsea and planning to buy a ready-made top class team. After one big signing that we'll have to pay through the nose for both in terms of fee and wages (and possibly getting a player who's not hugely pleased at ending up here), maybe there'll be decent players interested in the prospect of coming aboard. -

I know we've been playing quality teams and we have no right to expect points from those games but the amount of goals we've been conceding is pretty frightening. -
Sky were nice to us at least, when they showed the previews of the matches you could select on their select-a-match-o-matic thing the first one available was Newcastle Utd 1 - 4 Manchester Utd.
-
"Arsenal's Da Silva Eduardo is carried with possible broken leg after a challenge by Birmingham" I think they're possibly right
-
Are those the worst two photos of it? I was expecting blood and bones.
-
Can't give links to footy clips here. Your best bet is to go to a popular video site, search for eduardo and sort by date added. Brum player in the way of the realtime view of it on sky, can't see what happened really.

Well, that's my Times fantasy team even more fucked.

First I heard of this was a message from my Spurs fan mate which I'll type verbatim "Asapently the toon have signed chris hughton to the coaching staff. Fucking idiots, he's a shit coach. Get used to the clipboard of doom." He's actually pretty humble for a spurs fan and usually happy to see the toon doing well as long as it's not at the expense of spuds.
