Not many teams are willing to play this defensively at home in fairness. Any team is going to struggle to break down a team with 9 men strung across the 18 yard line.
I mean they get rolled over by mid table plodders (except us, lerlz) and other relegation hopefuls but turn into brazil 1970 against these two. game raising kernts.
They've only lost 3 games in the league this season. You just need to score early against them but it's easier said than done.
No one would be calling them a bogey team if we were talking about just this season.
They've beaten Man City at least once in the league every year for the last 5 years (edit: sorry, 4 years) and taken 4 points off them twice. For a team that's finished 13th, 10th, 13th ,17th and 14th over the period of City's ascendency, that's an oddly consistent record of "upsets" against a team that strolls it against almost any opposition. And yet their league placement would suggest they don't apply themselves to the other 36 games with equal fervor.
I don't think they're as big a bogey team for Chelsea.
