Surely he's made more than enough money already. If I was him at this point in his career I would rather go to some exotic country like Turkey than play in some shithole in the Championship.

He's not perfect but his presence and energy would be sorely missed. Also I don't think he does so many reckless tackles nor overly ambitious passes anymore. Losing the ball is the biggest problem, he's just over confident in the position he plays. We just simply look a worse team when he isn't playing.

Anita probably. He's brilliant at making us tick. Neat and tidy too.

Protecting the defence is hardly everything Tiote does. He gets significantly more touches and completed passes (with higher success rate) than Anita per game which makes the 'Anita keeps us ticking' in every post about him just ridiculous. Tiote is always available for the ball and never hides, we just simply look worse when he isn't playing. I like Anita but he has to be a lot more active and aggressive off the ball before he could realistically replace Tiote and personally I just can't see him being that type of player. Tiote obviously has his faults too and over confidence is IMO his biggest flaw. He can pull the tricks he does 9 times out of 10 but that one time often results in a dangerous chance for opposition. Just have to hope he is humble now after costing Ivory Coast one crucial goal in the WC.

That's just so unfair. If I read it right the player didn't even play on the third game of his suspension, just wasn't registered. Then comes on for 4 minutes in the second leg when the tie has been over for couple of hours already.

It's not that we want him to play, it's just how Jonas is being treated. He should be respected while trying to sort out a move, not frozen out and treated like s***. Petre Shilton always looked tubby and it didn't stop him being a good keeper. Elliott has a hell of a way to go to beat off Neville Southall to the fat keeper crown. Not even sure he's less dainty than a Mike Hooper to be fair to the lad. Pretty certain that Shilton and Southall would've been better if they weren't fat. Peter Shilton was fat? I have no idea. Saying a tubby goalkeeper was once good as a reply to 'Elliott is a fat mess' is just pretty pointless IMO.
