  1. He's been there for the last 3 years.
  2. What? It's great. That way there's football every midweek rather than a two week break between as it used to be.
  3. Would love 'murica to get it soon. Loved the '94 WC as a kid.
  4. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_football_stadiums_in_Scandinavia Obviously would love it but I don't think it's very likely. The current stadiums aren't big enough and the new stadiums would be too big to see any worthwile use after the WC. Finland also has only one stadium that could maybe be classified suitable and it was built for the 1940 Olympics that never happened (but hosted the '52 Olympics) so it's very old. Didn't realise Ullevaal is that small. Poor show Norway.
  5. Agreed on this, i'd love to see the '22 World Cup be re-awarded to the Aussies. Australia would be horrible unless they are happy to have all the games between midnight and noon.

Kinda funny, bimpy highlighting one sentence totally changing the meaning of Brett's post and goes on a rant. No one even cares.

  10. He did have a mare in the first 3 goals. Elementary mistakes in all. Lloris schooled him at the other end. Pleas explain how. 1st goal should have been a routine save. 2nd and 3rd goals, he should have parried it over or to the sides so their players couldn't follow up or at least have little of the goal to aim for. Lloris showed him exactly how it should be done. You just don't palm the ball back into dangerous areas. The first one is a clear error. The 2nd and 3rd aren't poor for every goalkeeper but Krul is good enough to do a lot better job in both of them.
  11. I never really understand how his results with Norwich prove anything tbh. He doesn't exactly have much to work with there. Or am I missing something? Hughton is clearly a really nice guy but I guess it's safe to say that he's not a top level PL manager (nor is Pardew obviously). He has been given decent money and Norwich play horrible football. Neither are good enough for us. Also, the recent results are disgraceful but we are not getting relegated this season ffs.
  12. So any midfielders that don't go to ground and just body people off the ball. Dembele for instance is great at it. I wonder if anyone has given him any pointers to try and do that more often, and put himself in position to do so. I wonder if anyone has told him anything remotely useful since he came in. When he looked his best earlier in the season, he was getting himself in front of the man and bodying' the man off the ball. It should be simple for any coach to see. A guy with that much strength and pace, should never be going to ground - he should be winning these battles by using his ridiculous upper body strength (who did he shoulder earlier this season? That bounced right off him?) and getting possession of the ball and BREAKING forward at pace. He's a box to box CM next to a physical holding midfielder every day of the week. He played great for Toulousse b/c he had Capoue doing all the dirty work for him. He should do very well with Tiote doing a similar role for him. I know that Pardew is the devil but Sissoko should know how to use his body already, he has brains. The player has to carry some responsibility too, the tackle he tried was disgraceful and I won't blame Pardew for that. He should be good next to Tiote, just wish he could control the ball consistently.
  13. Probably the worst tackle I've ever seen.

Don't understand people that say he is lazy. Kept on running and trying, just shot on confidence.
  16. It's a massive, massive problem. I do agree, but what passion/commitment that is there in the players has been eroded and nullified. The lack of ambition from the top down has washed away a culture which can sustain professional pride, I can't see how it couldn't tbh. It's not like all of our players have been this gutless always.
