Gordon really didn’t do anything to deserve any singled out praise. Off the ball movement is poor, seems like we are just looking at the player who has the ball. That combined with the lack of high press means we look disjointed and lacking in ideas. We created so much last season just by nicking the ball high up the pitch.

Thought he gave many soft fouls against Brentford too.
-
That and internationals. Isak started two games, Tonali got a knock with Italy, Almiron only just came back and Joelinton got injured.
-
Longstaff should never lose the ball there, didn’t even try to do anything with it.
-
He started both matches for Sweden, makes sense to rest him here before most likely starting again on Tuesday.
-
I was sure he would become a star after those first few games in the PL but last seasons have been a massive disappointment even when he's been fit. Playing on the wrong side in this game too.
-
Surely they should realise Höjlund isn't fit enough to play 90 yet? Martial must feel good too.
-
I'm usually on Team Froggy when he gets attacked here tbh despite despising Man United.
-
Come on 54. You know there's a logical reason why Man Utd are clearly ahead on that stat.
-
I haven't been watching that game but it's a stretch to call Bernardo a DMF, much more free role even if he's marked there in a formation. One of the defenders comes to middle when they are in possession. Surely Bernardo is better on the ball than Phillips too.

Bruno is such a cunt, why isn't he getting yellow for that or has the focus on dissent already been forgotten?
-
First time I've seen Boniface and he was really really good despite not scoring. Complete striker who was also surprisingly good with his feet, created so many shot opportunities for himself.
-
Kossounou looks really comfortable on the ball.
-
Some save by Hradecky.
-
Some pair if him and Osimhen can play together.
-
Boniface looks class.

I don’t know what the price will be but if it’s in the hundreds of millions it seems like a good opportunity if/when they clear their FFP troubles. In the end it’s a massive club with a big fanbase and soon a new stadium. Much better opportunity than Chelsea/Man Utd/Liverpool with their valuation already at billions. PIF and Howe turned us around in months after the state of mess Ashley left us, they just need some good hirings to kickstart the change.

Two quick goals for Austria, Sweden is done.

I don’t think Mudryk should be on any list yet after six months in that circus.

Callum Wilson: offered 'incentive-based' contract extension (Ornstein)

Could've sworn that he's been here for longer than 3 years, weird. -
We are not going to send a 16 year old kid out on loan nor should we, first team picture or not.
-
No, I didn't really pay attention to Bournemouth when they were climbing the divisions. Are you indicating that Anderson or Miley should've been starting games this season in front of Brazilian internationals Bruno and Joelinton or the £55m Italian international Tonali? Or are you just kneejerking really hard after couple of poor results?
-
Yeah, it's a shame he hasn't been able to take advantage of the famous academies of Bournemouth and Newcastle so far. Newcastle academy was such a hotbed of talent during the Ashley years, it's a joke he hasn't been able to use it more during his less than two years in charge here.

We finished fourth with what ended up being a thin squad of midfielders, what exactly Howe should've done differently with Anderson? We are four really tough games in to this season and some are getting anxious that he hasn't played a 16 year old kid yet in place of Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton (or Longstaff/Anderson). What have you seen that indicates Howe can't bring through our young players?
