Definitely the best on the ball along with Bruno, love how he's just gliding past people in the midfield.

He took a risk and stepped up, it failed. I don't remember it happening often though.
  3. Assistant missed the clear offsides on Wissa and Barnes chances in the first half.
  4. Yup, there were 3-4 occasions where I was expecting him to sweep like Pope and he just never showed up. Messed up a couple passes with his feet and I have no confidence in his actual keeping ability either, got lucky Evanilson was offside for that one spilled save. Thanks for the penalty win but I wouldn't mind it if I didn't see him play for us ever again.
  5. It was horrific, if you do the stutter you only make it harder for yourself without any gains if you stare at the ball and not the keeper. Just dumb.
  6. It's ruined, can't believe he went from Bournemouth to Man City.
  7. Game in hand too. Bookies have their odds at 1.20 (or 1/5). It's very much theirs to lose at this point.

That’s four goals after playing almost every game all season and I can’t blame him for the Liverpool goal. He had a shocker today but no need to rewrite history, he had directly made one costly mistake all season before tonight which is ridiculous form in a new tough league. We really need him to bounce back quickly though with both Burn and Schär. At least the next match comes quickly.
  9. Leeds and Everton both get a lot of hate here but matches against them still feel like big and significant PL matches, something that can't be said about half of the current division. Football is entertainment and for that reason I always hope they stay up compared to most newer and smaller PL clubs.
  10. @KingArthur You make valid points but tonight isn't the time. Eddie said himself that he didn't want to talk about any negatives (which there were plenty of) with the players after a night like this, just enjoy the result.
  11. Pretty sure it was close to the Christmas period too in 2001/02.
  12. What a match! We showed a lot of spirit to come back three times from behind to win that. Shocking amount of individual errors and we need Thiaw to bounce back from his horror show quickly. Howe will be pulling his hair out watching that from the tape. Hats off to Leeds too, probably the best away performance I've seen this season at SJP including Barca, Leeds were relentless. Surprising to see a Farke team play like that considering how limp his Norwich sides were.
  13. Cheer up mate, just won a classic.
  14. 3 points is the max you can get, no?
  15. Huh, thought they did nothing until the late Hughes chance?
  16. What was Gabriel even trying to do there?
  17. We really missed out on him six months ago.
  18. Isak was constantly making runs behind the defensive line while Woltemade drops deeper to receive the ball, a fundamental change. Wissa is a lot more like Isak though but obviously hasn’t been available.
  19. We don’t demand a team that tries, we demand a team that wins (by more than two goals).
  20. Did you watch the match? I felt exactly like Eddie said, pretty comfortable even during that tougher 10-15 minute spell in the second half. They really didn't create that many really good chances, don't remember any in the last 20 minutes while WE WERE SHITTING OURSELVES hanging on to a lead.
