Wouldn’t mind one of the bigger teams left at home. Rather face Liverpool or Arsenal now at home than in the final.
-
The one Kelly blocked was a good chance and then the Felix miss. Can’t remember much else from second half?
-
Thought it was a very professional performance. Pressed high early and got couple of goals. Chelsea had few dangerous counters mostly from us stupidly losing possession. Dropped back and it was quite comfortable despite Chelsea having couple of decent chances. Some really good individual performances (Krafth, Tonali, Joelinton etc.) and better from Willock and Longstaff. Pope not being able to catch anything is weird and Gordon once again appeared a bit sulky at right and all our good stuff came from the left.

Nah, he was garbage before Eddie and absolutely pointless signing. Glad it’s not true anymore though.
-
I was confidently placing him in my worst ever NUFC eleven before Howe.
-
I have no idea how he looks this good now on very limited minutes.
-
Would like some more possession to ease the pressure but we are defending really well here.
-
Yup.
-
Kelly with a Burn-esque block, get in!
-
Aye, was mad. Felix has looked good, talent and career don’t match.
-
Not for me, Kelly has had few shaky moments and Tino is so much quicker than Kraft, although he has had few blunders this season.
-
We had 7 last season (Bruno, Joelinton, Tonali, Willock, Longstaff, Anderson and Miley) and Longstaff had to play basically every match. Ideally that would be a role for some kid from the academy but that won't happen for a while.
-
We can't allow a 26 (tomorrow 27 year old, happy birthday Sean) regular to walk for nothing. Even getting £10-15m would be important and if not, he has a role as a homegrown 5th-7th choice CM in any case.
-
This is way too small of a sample size for any conclusions especially considering the circumstances. 10 players for the majority of one match and then matches against possession ultras Spurs and Man City. Trend is also upwards as we were much better than Brighton in everything but finishing chances. 60% possession (64% in the first half), outshot them two to one and xG was clearly to us.
-
Has Longstaff ever taken a set piece if Tonali was on the pitch?
-
Zubimendi replaced him. It goes both ways though, Real were pretty lucky against Man City in the QF. If they get knocked out Vini has no chance of winning the award.
-
I'm all for the award going to someone who didn't score most goals once in a while, especially when Rodri has been ridiculously good for so long.
-
This is all just speculation man. It's absolute weirdo and freak behaviour to crave for drama like this.

Sat next to some young lad in Level 7 against Brighton. Joined all the songs until Brighton scored, after that mostly slagged off our players with the highlight being 'ISAK, YOU'RE FUCKING SHITE!'. Fucked off when the 9 minute extra time started. Some of our fans can be so fucking fickle, it's unreal that someone as talented as Isak is being written off due to not being a massive battering ram. Not talking about @Shays Given Tim Flowers if anyone is wondering.

Everyone tries to copy what Arsenal do as they’ve been so dominant in corners. Burn just can’t attack the ball as well as Gabriel and Havertz do. Delivery shouldn’t be a problem with Hall on the other side and Trippier/Gordon/Tonali on the other.
-
Alright, good luck with that. He’s been out of form this season but fucking hell.
-
Lovely bit of business that from everyone’s favourite Brighton by the way, selling him three years ago for one million pounds. I’m sure our fanbase would handle that well.
-
Do we buy him to be the backup in case Isak hits a rough patch like this?
-
Who would you replace Isak with then as he’s costing us results right now?
