As above but my MotM between Ramsey and Willock. Thought most had a good to decent game including Elanga and Woltemade who have the lowest ratings on that pic. Some really brave passing sequences to break the press and we didn't just sit back without the ball after being under the cosh for the first 15 minutes.

Aye, Eddie's five at the back is so dynamic and players have a lot of positional freedom. Insane how well-drilled we often look playing it considering how rarely we use it. Would never call it a more defensive formation than the usual 4-3-3.

Both him and Botman were very good dealing with the long ball bombardment. Thiaw had that one unlucky bounce but rock solid otherwise and the one horror show few weeks clearly didn’t derail his confidence.

Crying about the fee achieves nothing. It’s clear we overpaid but if we want him to ever find any form then backing him like the crowd did against PSV doesn’t hurt. He’s not as bad a player as he has been so far for us and think there have been positive signs on his last two cameos. Would really like to see him get a start soon. You have to build on something.

Was close to the back in the middle of the Gallowgate. Could stand all game which was nice. No real negativity at any point but the second half was definitely a lot worse than the first. Was surprised by the boos at FT, HT boos were clearly directed at the ref who was pretty abysmal.

The line has to be drawn somewhere, after some point it is an offside. Would love to see the conversations if the referees were allowed to subjectively call if someone wasn't offside enough thus the goal would be allowed.
