The two main stripes are there purely because it is a standard puma template, same goes for the white box I guess. We just aren't a big enough club these days to have a shirt designed specifically for us. Given that the thin blue stripes were around before the Wonga sponsor I think they are unrelated too. I like to think it is specifically to be "Magpie like" but I would imagine it is a template thing again.

Agreed, the blue box even has it's own white border as seen by the tick on the black stripe so heaven knows why a further white box is needed.

There is definitely a big difference between the two tops. The ebay one seems to have switched to a mainly black back, but on top of that, on the hanger shirt, the main seven stripes are still there on the front without being cut off by the blue.

I'd be looking to play Ben Arfa in Beardsley's role. He is at the club still to help coach him and with Cisse playing off his little through balls and some exciting wide men brought in, who knows, maybe we could entertain again.
