I wonder where this leaves Berbatov. With Keane leaving it means that either he will have to stay against his will, and a moody Berbatov in their team means they may as well play with 10 men, or Spurs will be faced with having to replace 3 of their 4 forwards from last season, and apparently the manager doesn't rate the 4th (Bent) anyway.

My money is on him agreeing an improved contract where he is after all this unfortunately. I don't want to bring up old debates, but I would be a lot more optimistic about our chances in the transfer market if Keegan was involved. I'd love to be proven wrong here.

I will be more than happy if they replace Berbatov, Keane and Defoe with Pavlychenko, Milito and Arshavin. All of them are unproven over here and will take time to settle. Trouble is, knowing Spurs, they are likely to do all this AND strengthen in DM too.

Why still all this talk of Jimmy Bullard? He was even linked in the papers last week with a swap deal for Luke Young at Boro, about his level.
