  1. Fucking hell, that's unbelievable. What a cock up.
  2. What proposal? I'm not sure what Carr and the RB slot has to do with Faye. You don't like the options I gave, so I would like to hear your own option. 2M for Faye could have been spent on getting a RB. I hadn't realised money was an issue. £2m for one of Bolton's best players who can play in defence and in midfield is a great deal.
  3. What proposal? I'm not sure what Carr and the RB slot has to do with Faye.
  4. Is there actually any news on Emre and how much of a knock he got on Wednesday night? I'm dying to have him back.
  5. Expecting all of the above, other than Shola starting. No way he'll drop Viduka now... I'd be shocked to see Viduka start. I expect to see either Smith or Shola partnering Owen.
  6. Just seen Arca's goal, the amount of space he was gifted is incredible. With three central midfielders, it's criminal that he wasn't picked up. We totally switched off.
  7. Which one will you prefer? 1. Faye as back up to Cacapa, who is a back up to Taylor in central defense. Or 2. Carr starts regularly, with Ramage as back up? Why is the choice one or the other?
  8. Boro were very fucking dirty today like. They kicked a few of our players to bits.
  9. Solano should still be appearing at RB, even with Carr fit. Not even having him on the bench is a poor decision, especially with no other midfielders on there. Solano might want away, but if he appears for NUFC, I trust him to give 100% every time he plays so it's not a concern to me. If he's here, he plays.
  10. Definitely Geremi. He's my captain so here's hoping for a correction.
  11. Good stuff. Injuries were a blessing in disguise. Actually, they weren't even in disguise.
  12. Of course he did, Sam always has the players go straight down the tunnel to get checked out.
  13. Just got in, disappointed with a point having scored when we did, but a draw was a fair result over 90 minutes. Very disappointing to drop the lead twice, it was obviously coming too, we just let our concentration levels drop after we scored, it's something that's been a problem for longer than this season. Harper - helpless for the goals, made a fantastic save from Arca first half Carr - blessing for him to be crocked. RB please (not Johnson!) Taylor - his fault for Mido-phile's goal, should have dealt with it better Rozehnal - still looks good N'Zogbia - top drawer, even as LB he's one of our most potent threats - and what a fucking strike Butt - did alright Geremi - not great, why do good set piece takers seem to go to pot when they join NUFC? Smith - not a midfielder, achieves very little in there Martins - clearly not happy in this system, neutralizes the good things about his game Milner - did some good things but lacked product, summed up by his wonderful touch between defenders second half only to waste the space with a tame shot Viduka - can't believe the amount of people saying he was poor. Immense even when he had two or three players kicking lumps out of him at a time and scored a typical Vids goal - made his own space in no space at all and finished well Cacapa - looked impressive Ramage - still shite Owen - thought he was going to repeat his flick against Brazil in 2002 but it wasn't to be What people should remember before knee-jerking again is Boro always up their game for the big ones - got results against all of the Big 4 last season at the Riverside, and this game is arguably their biggest of the season. We're still unbeaten and we're 7th with a game in hand. I'll take that. What we really need is to start winning those home games.
  14. It seemed pointless asking Newcastle fans if they hated Newcastle.
  15. I agree Wullie, I was taking the piss. Fair enough. Wouldn't surprise me if there were some who said that though.
  16. Good to hear - even if there are still people who will swear blind that it's bollocks and that he's on the phone to Benitez as we speak.
  17. Having been the best team in the country during the 95-96 season and come away with nowt, I couldn't give a fuck how we play if we win. As Newcastle fans who experienced that heartbreak, I can't believe anyone would choose that again over dour, effective football - not that I'm saying we'll play that, just making a point.
  18. Interesting comments about "the bad smell disappearing." Bye Kieron.

  20. There's some weird rivalries about that you wouldn't expect. Not so long back I was talking to a Chelsea fan (it was some bloke off Big Brother actually, but I digress) and he said that Boro are still one of Chelsea's most hated rivals (among the faithful obviously) after Boro were the ones to relegate them in the late 80s. In the Mag end of season review of 1992 (I think), Newcastle fans voted Cambridge United our most hated rivals other than the mackems. Sign of how far we've come really.
  21. I'm nervous about tomorrow like.
