  1. Well said. We were beaten before kick off with that pathetic lineup but the players on the pitch totally let us all down today. Too many of them escape criticism because they're frankly adored without having done a fucking thing in our shirt to deserve it. The players were pathetic mate, but what can you expect? They don't believe in what they're being told to do, like any fan with eyes, and they can see it's not working. If my boss kept telling me to do something that wasn't working then I'd fuck it off, one way or another. Players usually do it by undermining the manager in some way, quite often with gutless performances to speed the sacking process along. To clarify though, I don't think that's the be-all-and-end-all in terms of an excuse for the players - their main concern should be the club and getting us out of the shit we're in. Your last sentence doesn't make much sense either mind, who are you referring to? Cabaye? Ben Arfa? Cisse? They've all done good things wearing our shirt. I doubt any one of us can say that we've never been at a stage at work where we've said "Fuck it, let the wheels fall off, I couldn't give a toss anymore" Obviously it's a lot less noticeable and forgivable when we do it than when they do it live on television but they're still humans. It's the manager's job to stop that from happening. It's not some bizarre coincidence where we've bought a load of Frenchmen who don't give a toss and yet Chelsea, Arsenal and the Manchester clubs have packed their squads with not only talent but talent who would die for the shirt (like Hazard, like Nasri, like Nani, like Giroud). Saying that the players have packed in is too easy. Pardew's simply not cut out for working with foreign flair players, like the majority of League 1 and 2 managers - no shame in it, just fuck off and let us get a real top flight manager in.

Seems harsh as f*** that like, he's a nice lad from my experience. Which article you on about anyway? Aye, no need tbh. Regardless of differences in opinion, there's no need for the petty name calling. Nixon hadn't been mentioned and that article is about Benfica. Absolutely no need to bring him up at all. Regardless of his opinions. He was mentioned but whoever it was deleted it. Anyway he's a "journalist", what sets him above criticism unlike another cretin like Lee Ryder? Cos he used to post utter s*** on here as opposed to sticking it straight in the newspaper? Not having that like. Didn't see that deleted post. Makes a canny difference. Of course no journalist is above criticism, not one person suggested otherwise in the absolute slightest. There are plenty of others that back Pardew, plenty of others that talk shit on here, and plenty of journalists chatting shit. What you wrote seemed needlessly personal. Of course I'm sure you understand why myself and others, questioned why you'd brought him up? Aye fair play. He was definitely mentioned, I wouldn't have brought him up otherwise, much as I chuckled at his ludicrous "article" a few weeks ago.
  3. Apart from potentially staying up? Who realistically comes in now? A stop gap? It's just not going to happen. Maybe it should - but it won't. Then we go down.

  5. Yanga-Mbiwa will be the one to make way. MYM was the only reason Sturridge didn't get about a dozen today, I barely noticed Taylor in the second half which was a concern since they spent most of it in our penalty area.
  6. I just can't believe Ashley will risk that massive TV money hike to keep one of his chums in a job. But then he's still here. Everyone talks about Reading but Southampton away following home defeats against Swansea and West Ham was the point after which anyone giving him the benefit of the doubt should have been sectioned.

  8. Thought about this as I was coming out the ground. Probably the worst team we could have left to face. Any team that can pass and move to a vaguely competent standard can basically score as many as they like at the moment.

Which article you on about anyway? http://espnfc.com/feature/_/id/1408980/kristan-heneage:-valiant-newcastle-bow-out-with-grace?cc=5739 "Able to share a smile as he gave his post match press conference, Pardew's focus was on the future and once again qualifying for the Thursday night competition. Although Newcastle's 44-year wait for success will now extend itself by at least one more season, their wait for a team to be truly proud of following 2009's relegation is now over." I don't doubt he's canny. So's my grandma. She knows more about football.

Could have easily made one up of genuine excuses.

I enjoyed Nixon's recent article about us now having a team to be proud of. That lad is living proof that the last thing you need to be a football journalist is to know the first thing about football. Thick as two short planks.

Nosediving up the league. Thought Teasy said stoke would never win again?
  13. It's not been "mega-negativity" though has it? It's been proven to be absolutely bang on. Why some people think that living in a fucking dream world where everything is rosy somehow makes them some sort of better supporter is fucking bizarre.

How can a lack of organisation be down to players?

There was nearly a fight broke out right in front of me after the third goal. One old bloke going fucking spare and everyone else turning on him. To both of you - what are defenders of him saying at this stage? I am not looking forward to going to West Ham, I might see if I can sell the ticket. One thing that's just dawned on me is this: people always go on about this idea that a good manager wouldn't come near us, I don't agree with that in any case but I'll put that aside for a moment. I think a good manager with something to prove would be fucking dying to come and work here, regardless of the stature of the club etc, for the simple reason that they'll look at the squad and think "Fuck me, I'll be able to raise standards with that set of players immeasurably with no bother at all". We're unfortunately again at the stage where we're waiting helplessly on the whims of an enigmatic and eccentric owner to see what the craic is. If we don't make a change then we're obviously going nowhere, and that's the best case scenario. Worst case scenario is we go down this year, next worst is that we're fucked early doors next year. I think you'd have to be utterly insane to think we can achieve anything now if we carry on with this lark. I didn't hear what was said but it was a young lass who complained first so it might just have been the bloke's language. She's lucky she doesn't sit in front of me tbh, the air has been blue in that area for a long time.

YEAH MOFO'S!!!!!!!!!! the saddest bastards are those gloating cos we got beat 6-0 at home. I don't want to fall out with you at all, but you can fuck off implying I'm not as fuming about today as you are (I'm assuming I'm one of the haters you're referring to). I'm probably more angry if anything, because I've been telling my mates where this was going for months and they've only just started listening. So pissed off with it now. Feels a lot worse when you've seen it coming for so long. Feel like I've been in a movie for months where I'm the only one who knows who the killer is and everyone else is oblivious. Or something.
  19. Surely he must realise now the amount of money he's going to lose for standing by his mate?
  20. That's been fucking glaringly obvious since November as far as I'm concerned.

The majority are responsible. Even today he still had an easier ride than Souness, Roeder or Fat Sam.

Hope all the daft cunts who've spent the vast majority of the season licking his arse are happy with themselves.

Needs sacking in the dressing room. Should not be on the touchline in fifteen minutes.
