Christ, they actually discuss DNA types and argue over who's more white. They should see this woman at work, she makes Casper the Friendly Ghost look like one of the Cosbys.

Pardew's played an absolute masterstroke tbf. By focusing on Ben Arfa's lack of work rate (as a number ten no less, don't laugh), he's managed to convince even the people who don't like Obertan that "yeah Obertan might work a bit harder/make a tackle/help the full back but Ben Arfa can..." when in fact Obertan makes Hugo Viana look like Roy Keane.

I'm trying not to get myself worried about it like I have in the past though I know I'll be livid again when it happens. I know the best players are going to be sold, be made out to be cunts and the money won't be spent. Sure as night follows day. Little point worrying about it tbh. The people making the decisions at NUFC are cunts and will never be anything else.

Ji Sung Park.

Don't see why this is a problem at all. I guess it would be a nice gesture if he was in the stands watching the match, but it's hardly mandatory. may not be mandatory but it doesn't look good and maybe it should be mandatory especially for home games (would be if i was in charge). I agree with that.

We look much easier to deal with at set pieces without the Taylor Bros. Ryan's delivery is simply miles better than anyone else's and free kicks at least were usually aimed in the general direction of Steven at the back post to nod it back across. I'm also in the short corner hatred camp. Can't think of a single occasion where we've profited from one, although I do remember Higginbotham scoring in the derby against us.

Same This honeymoon period better not last much longer. With our results dwindling and theirs improving my quality of life in the weekends have decreased proportionally. Not sure you could class one win against one of the poorest sides in the league a honeymoon period mind.

"Can the golden touch of Martin O'Neill get a point for sunderland here?" Vomit.
-
Modric there as bad as Torres, open net, six yards out. Unbelievable.
-
Absolutely typical mackem luck this, turning up at White Hart Lane when Bale and Lennon are both crocked.
-
Seemed a good point at the time but we should have beaten Villa really, they are absolutely dire. If we'd played them when Ba had found his form, we would have. 1-0 Saints, Lambert.
-
I'd have Samba ten times out of ten over Cahill, who I think is one of the most overrated players in the league.
-
Because Swansea had spent the previous half hour kicking the shit out of our players without sanction, Cabaye commits one trip and goes straight in the book.
-
Best game for him to miss but his booking was farcical, much like his 4th was.
-
Not 3 half-competent displays from him, surely? He's "worse than shit", apparently. Half competent last week? Did you watch the game through the haze of a cocktail of hard drugs? Or when he was supposed to be marking Drogba for that matter? Did alright today.
-
The thing is that he doesn't even track back, he's lazy as fuck. His decision making makes Martins look like Xavi.

We're 6th in the smegging league man Wullie. Where were we when Hughton got the bullet? 9th maybe? I don't think Pardew deserves the sack but I didn't think Hughton did either, that's the point, unlike plenty who were jumping through hoops to see the back of a bloke doing a marvellous job. He needs six points from the next two though because the last two results are piss poor.
-
Plenty of people defended his sacking on the basis of results. I can only hope they'll be of the same opinion about Pardew after today, because that was a dreadful result, all his fault, and doing otherwise will only expose their hypocrisy.
-
Absolutely bloody hopeless.
-
Can someone explain to me how the last two results are any different to the results against newly promoted sides that supposedly cost Chris Hughton his job? Thought Pardew was brought in solely to stop this sort of thing happening?

Newcastle United Vs Swansea - 17/12/11 - Pre Match Thread
Wullie replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
Reasonably happy with that, though the loyalty to Obertan seriously grates at this point. Is Ryan Taylor injured? -
Imagine one of our lads going on a night out in sunderland ffs, never mind damaging cars. That club just attracts vermin.
