Absolutely fucking clueless, get a grip of yourself man.

I've heard it all before though mate. It's always the same... judge in summer... s***, well judge in January... s***, well the summer is the time to judge etc etc. There's a point where you have to say enough is enough, and I'm a long way past that point. Seeing as we're 9th, we should be demanding more than top 7. Suspect we'd be there anyway if we'd kept AC9. We were 12th when Pardew replaced your mate. Grow up man.

And some on here would have you believe that's unreasonable. They should fuck off and watch the FTSE instead IMO. Absolutely David. He's recovered from that career threatening injury canny quickly as well.

There's dozens to choose from on here.

You wouldn't then? Oh dear.

What was it about the deal being amazing, incredible, unbelievable? If we were offered him back tomorrow for £40m, I'd take him before you could say 'ambition'.
-
How is it sad. How's it not? I saw him play for the juniors, reserves & the 1st team at NUFC & so it is good to see him play well for England & Liverpool. Give over man ffs.

Took me years to get over losing Bellamy and this is worse.

Not had one of those PL Panini albums since I was a bairn. Might do that next season for nostalgia.

I was, back in October/November, I was over the moon with how things were going. Reminds me of when me and Mick used to get slated to hell for calling Souness worse than shite. Now, of course no-one will admit to it but at the time, the majority were in staunch defence of the arsehole. I'm not "negative", I try and call things as I see them.

wouldn't that ambition at all costs have seen torres still wearing red ? they can afford more than we can right now, it's quite simple really. How? Their debts are vastly larger than ours. And they probably cottoned on to the fact that he looks finished. maybe they are going to take the gamble we did with owen etc, maybe their new owners are going to bankroll them. Maybe? So they can't afford more is what you're saying. They're doing what clubs who want to be successful do - speculate to accumulate. They've always done that in the Premiership era. We used to. Who do you think will come off the better for it? And it's nothing like Owen, couldn't be more different. Suarez and Carroll are on the way up, not down, for a start. and if it doesn't work, like it didn't for us, do you just keep on spending money that isn't yours ? owen wasn't on his way down, at real he scored whenever he played and played well, the injuries just after he arrived here were what fucked him. It will work though. The players they've got are too good.

Its a fair point to raise though. Injuries have been a lot harsher on Pardew than Hughton. Hughton's performance in the transfer window last January was outstanding. He also kept his players fit via clearly good training over more games but I know he's not allowed to take credit for any of this. Pardew's January was appalling and casts a very deep dark shadow over next season imo. I think the summer is going to be devastating for all of us. I can see why you think that, absolutely, but it's worth pointing out that the January window and the summer window are completely different. Aye, more chance to sell off key players. Pardew's remit. I really try not to follow the posters who constantly label you as boring, negative and repetitive, I really do. You're not making it easy, though. You hate the current regime, they're shit, we all get it. This constant doom mongering (usually after a poor performance or result) has gone on long enough; when we sell off the entire squad in the summer and replace them with League 2 players on the cheap I'm sure you'll be the first to log on and say you were right. It pisses me off, I can't help it. I'm still absolutely seething about yesterday. I didn't hold out much hope for this season but the previous manager and the players proved me wrong and 6-0 against Villa, 5-1, some of the greatest days of my supporting life, I thought watching Andy Carroll play for Newcastle was going to be what we all missed out on when Gazza and Beardsley upped sticks and now he's gone for a bit of money, money, money, it's all about to crash down again and I'm absolutely fucking gutted. I want Newcastle United to be the best team in the country, nay, the world, and I'm pig fucking sick of Mike Ashley and his bunch of hangers on pulling the carpet out from under our feet every two months. I make no apologies for that.

Never said it wasn't but signing nobody (apart from Ireland, don't laugh) and selling off others is appalling.

How can you say that Enrique is a better attacker when Jonas already got 5 assists and two goals this season? And Jonas has secured us plenty of free kicks in good positions- Dear Jesus.

The old "he's hopeless" excuse doesn't really cut it when you take a look at our bench yesterday - in fact when you take a look at the fact we had to play our best centre half in midfield because of a lack of options. Routledge clearly has a lot of talent, we've seen it and QPR are seeing it now, it's a case of getting him to use it at the top level, not just taking one look and hoying him out the window. Passing the buck and saying "well sorry, I can't do anything with this bloke", when he clearly has the assets to be an... asset is rank bad management.
-
Should get a lend of our scouting team, by all accounts they're going to be finding them left, right and centre at ease in the summer, bound to be loads left over.
-
I think everybody would turn greedy tbh. Thinking about it, most of us would probably say they'd be fine with £5k a week as long as they got to play for Newcastle. But now, if the situation was different and you'd be playing for some random club, you'd look at other people's wages and go "I want more, I'm talented enough to warrant more. I don't necessarily need more, but I still want more." and etc. I'm probably just ranting, but still. I seem to recall Van Nistelroy (sp?) saying the wages he got at Man U were ridiculous, no-one needed that kind of money, and being reprimanded by Fergie/the club for saying anything at all. Personally speaking I would definitely place job satisfaction above more money; especially when we are talking at that level of income. I think the constant emphasis on wages by some supporters says more about them than it does about the players.
-
Of course SAFC are in the short term as that is achievable target but getting the points to stay up is still the main target. We probably already have enough points to stay up. Sunderland are below us and in freefall. These are both pretty weak targets. We need to motivate the team by setting a difficult target such as 7th place. The way this season has gone I will wait till we are mathematically safe. 7th f*** off...WERE YOU ONE OF THE MONGS WATCHING LIVERPOOL V MUFC THINKING THAT RESULT WILL EFFECT OUR EUROPEAN CHANCES? We were 3pts behind Liverpool before that game. If Liverpool were in with a shout of Europe AT THAT TIME then so were we. Absolutely.
-
Well I think Jonas and Coloccini will be far less inclined to stick around if Jose leaves, for a start, which will be great news for some, not so for those who like seeing the team winning.

Best 1 vs West Ham Best 2 vs West Ham Ameobi vs Wolves Ameobi vs Wigan* I think. *Technically The second against WHU and one against Wigan should never be considered assists in a million years. What world do you live in where a driven cross across the box is not an assist?
