  1. Honestly couldn't give a fuck right now tbh. Feel like throwing the towel in.

    Chris Hughton

He's well out of this place. Hope he finds a club that deserves a man and a manager like him. Today I am ashamed to support Newcastle United. I want my club back.
  3. O'Neill is a fraud. 100m on players that are lower than us in the table.
  4. The thought of losing Hughton makes me feel physically sick. First manager i've had any liking or respect for since SBR left other than KK's brief tenure. Just when the club had some vague credibility back too.
  5. I'm putting myself firmly in the Pardew Out camp from the off. Bloke's an arsehole and one who's shit at his job.
  6. Maybe his reluctance is down to not having Colo covering for him down that side as usual.
  7. FWIW I thought we were looking good for an equalizer until Guthrie kicked himself up the arse and fell over.
  8. Chaps, the fact that the best suggestions we've had for what the clearly inept manager should have done differently are to have played Leon fucking Best and thrown on Ranger out of position should tell you enough about the situation to know that his hands are tied.
  9. Yeah, like he wouldn't have done a better job than Shola in the last 5 games. He'd have made more of an impact than Shola did against Fulham, that's for sure. Howay man, you're not stupid enough to think that Best would have made any difference whatsoever.
  10. This bloke seems to think any of us give a shiny shite about West Bromwich Albion. Mate, no-one gives a shit about West Brom. It's only ever these clubs with no rivals where nothing interesting ever happens that the fans turn up afterwards to try and stoke something up. Bolton, Stoke, West Brom, we're not interested. You beat us fair and square, well done, now bog off.
  11. Obvious that Carroll led with his elbow into Scharner after Scharner had given him two mans challenges that put him in his pocket all afternoon, Carroll even had to cheat for the consolation goal, never mind, he can go and beat up some women now to get his manliness back! Scharner owned Carroll! Not like West Brom players to lead with their elbow like is it?
  12. Obvious that WBA are managed by an Italian like, what a bunch of diving bastards.

    Sol Campbell

Colo and Williamson straight back in for me.
  14. A massive massive miss today. Not just defensively, but actually mainly in terms of bringing the ball out of defence and being the player in the squad (ok, apart from HBA) with arguably the most natural ability with the ball at his feet. Felt like we'd lost a key midfielder at times today I thought.
  15. Anyone who thinks he should have done things differently should take a look at the bench imo. Not one established Premier League player on there other than Alan Smith - enough said. Injuries and suspensions have hit us very hard, what can the manager do about that with the funds at his disposal? The likes of Ronaldo (and I'm not just picking on him but he shouts loudest) call him clueless because he plays Ameobi then in the same breath says that Lovenkrands and Ranger are *insert overblown criticism here* and should never play for us in the Premier League. It's ridiculous iyam.
  16. The only beef I had with the XI was selecting a badly out of form and possibly injured Ameobi. Out of the three on the bench, I would have probably given Ranger a go. But he went off at half time and while we improved, what really cost us was critical defensive errors. Hughton can do fuck all about losing Coloccini and Williamson, just has to go with what he's got and I don't think Campbell and Taylor are up to it. I just think it was an abject performance but one where we've actually created chances and gifted them goals. I think the silly scale on here where Hughton moves up a bit when we win and down when we lost is getting daft. Sometimes we just have to accept that he can only use the players he has and that the other team can play well. I wouldn't have picked a different team today.
  17. Agreed. No really winnable games in December, WBA by far the easiest. He's gone before the Mackems, if not we'll get humped about 7-0 at this rate. What has happened since we beat them 5-1? Seriously? They've been playing some decent football and getting results, we have gone in to decline, not picking up enough points while being tonked of bottom teams in the division. Erm... such as? We've played all of the bottom six and not lost to any of them.
  18. I'm interested to know what everyone thinks he should have done differently today as far as the starting XI goes?
  19. Leon Best's career stats are 45 goals in 171 starts, the majority in League One and below, but because he's not played in the Premier League, we should assume he might be better than established strikers with a far superior record at higher levels? Should I take my boots to the West Midlands in the morning? I've got a canny record at Westgate Road Centre for Sport and Shola's obviously shit so yeah, why not?
