They're staring at the clock, tbf. If Sunderland don't score, it'll end 0-0. Not the end of the world, can't see this mob getting anything off Chelsea whether they're playing for anything or not.
-
Most of them couldn't give a toss one way or another, that's the trouble.
-
West ham needed to win at old trafford to stay up two or three years ago and did so. You're extremely naive if you think the result at hull is a foregone conclusion.
-
oh yes. cant see it like, but we live in hope. Me neither because I can't see us winning but if we do win that's a likely outcome, unless of course they beat Pompey tomorrow.
-
You were the blue left back, yes? Thought we had a nice little rapport going down their left hand side.
-
Sending the mackems down on goal difference would be the ultimate prize.
-
Dead ringer! He even runs like him. Didn't see hoying himself to the floor at any opportunity though so it's not an exact likeness.
-
Credit to Nick for the assist for my goal, put me in two or three times with the classic route-one ball in between the centre halves.

I'm sure he was offside a couple of times too, hard decision for the referee to make because when I was up front Ash was just playing me onside, but if Nixon for instance had played a through ball and I was away he would have probably blew because he didn't see me time my run. I was trying to keep quite a rigid line with Nut, Dino and Nixon but didn't seem to make much of a difference, damn Wullie with his diagonal runs. I couldn't mark him too tight if I did I would have left a huge hole through the middle, was very clever. Cutting in from the left man, it's the way forward. I'm like Thierry Henry but white and shit.

Wullie was loving his overhead kicks. Wulldinho! I'm still disappointed I didn't connect with either of them. Thought I recovered well after ballooning a sitter out of the park in the first minute!
-
We could stay up with a point next week though if Hull lose, in which case what WBA do will affect us. They'd need to win both their games though.

Having read the thread, I can't believe anyone thinks Viduka's goal should have been ruled out. Nolan can stand where the fuck he likes, if the paedophile in the green can't get to the ball, that's his problem.
-
How was the red card justified if the ball was going to the keeper? Another ludicrous misunderstanding (from the fucking ref this time) of the last man/clear goalscoring opportunity rule iyam. The fact he was "last man" is 100% irrelevant because that term is not in the rules. It was not a goalscoring opportunity and therefore not a red card.

I was a 9 until I realised us and Hull can win and still stay up. The mackems' result on Monday is massive. 8. There is still hope.

Shouldn't be allowed to referee the Sunday League. Stupid cunt.
-
Ashley's antics in selling Faye, Given, Milner and N'Zogbia are what have taken us down (if we do drop). Even with the managerial messes we've had, those players would have been enough - his eyes lit up upon seeing the cheques. I wouldn't brake if I saw the cunt crossing the road.
-
Just seen the replay of Viduka's perfectly legitimate goal. Howard Webb might have cost us our Premiership status today, the clueless baldy cunt.

Where the old club shop was, Gallowgate/Milburn corner.

Fulham have had a great season, and it will be a tough game but lets not make them out to be world beaters. They are much much more potent at home than they are away. And remember our game with them at their place we took the lead and were cruising until Cacapa decided to prove he's not really up to top flight football. There is no reason in the world why we can not beat Fulham at home. I'm confident we'll get something out of the game and if we play with the same amoubnt of effort and desire as last night, I think we'll win. We never took the lead. Even after we equalised, they scored straight away again.
-
Beat Fulham and it probably won't matter a jot. Let's focus on ourselves.

He was his usual self. Goes past players like they're not there (usually getting the fuck kicked out of him in the process) but lacks the ability to do anything with it when he gets where he's going. If he could just learn to do a simple thing like driving the ball across the front of the six yard box he'd be a much more effective player.

Cheers fella. Good luck and enjoy your tour of new grounds. We might still join you of course, we've got plenty work to do yet.

I know, I feel really sorry for anyone who has to witness their team go down. Until this season I didn't realise how deeply terrifying it was. I'll never gloat over another team's relegation, and I've had some disgraceful stick from Mackems this season. Aye I was gutted for him. My best mate's a Boro fan and there'll be no gloating from me. Sticking the knife in over something like relegation is something you don't do to a real fan imo, no matter what team they follow.

The players came through when we needed them to tonight. I hope they don't think the job is done because we have a massive job on Saturday and potentially at Villa Park but survival is now firmly back in our hands. Honourable mention (I have to because I like to give credit where it's due): Duff has been excellent at left back in Enrique's absence.
