no no, not the lounge...definately on grey st...name like the lounge The Lodge? What was once upon a time Johnny Ringo's? On Mosley St? Place is a fucking sauna! Duff11, I think it used to be at some point or it was just a rumour. Don't think it is now though. It was, but no longer I believe.

Pathetic isn't it? Proud to say we've never done that. Yep, even when we've been struggling in the league we've always put a strong team out and taken the UEFA Cup seriously. Wins breed confidence, I can't understand why some managers can't see this. Going out on a Thursday night and howking a load of part timers 5-0 is the best preparation you can have for the following Sunday. Wouldn't care but Spurs haven't even played for ten days, the players would have dying to get out there tonight. Harry knows best though - as a fan I'd be absolutely disgusted with him.

The lounge is correct, it's grainger st rather than grey st though. As those awful basement bars go, it's actually one of the better ones. Wbcp's summing up of tiger tiger has had me giggling in the office.

It's gotta be so easy to pull girls as a footballer. ...Not for everyone http://img.skysports.com/08/01/218x298/Petera_Ramage_625679.jpg http://www.facebook.com/s.php?ref=search&init=q&q=peter+ramage&sid=2301e3e2578f1e1332a2c20db7436908#/group.php?sid=2301e3e2578f1e1332a2c20db7436908&gid=41360052065 QPR fans love him.

They'd have to put that in the dictionary as the definition of irony.

In a league like the Premiership, it's a quite staggering acheivement - especially when they don't play a negative game. I'm ecstatic if we get to half time without conceding ffs.
-
Can't remember who it was, someone on here told me VDS was a liability.

Excellent news. As many Mag refs as possible please (plus it'll nark the Everton fan at work - win-win).

They're the only fuckers who can afford the drinks. I hate that place with a passion.

Hope the twats go out of business.

Since when was Smith mobile? He stands in the centre circle with his finger up his arse waiting for someone to lunge at. Butt every day of the week, and I can't stand that bugger.

Beye brings the rest of the back four up a level imo. He marshalls them, he's an outlet because he's so good on the ball and he'll pop up and do someone else's job if they get caught, usually with a ridiculously good tackle. Class act.

I love Habib, Cattermole's up there with Solskjaer for this shit. Next time we play Wigan should be the next time Alan Smith pulls on a black and white shirt, fuck the points, let's just finish this despicable little bastard's career.

"typically combative" ffs. Obviously Blackburn didn't have anyone who can take a free kick or we'd have been fucked.

Used to post on the old HTT board back in the day too. There's a Dr Gloom on Toontastic but I don't think it's the same bloke cos he used to be Dan.
-
Of course he is. Just ask Bobby Robson who tried to bring him here as his no 2 a long time back. He's out of our league now, but that's how the cookie crumbles. Fergie's better imo.
-
I'd say Wigan and Hull are both smaller historically.
-
Hardly surprising given the players he used in it.

LOL I'm being serious, Jonas plays from too deep to effectively link up with Lovenkrands, and has little end product to compensate. You're talking like we have options. And you honestly think we should play Martins from the Bench? Lovenkrands subject to maintaining West Brom form is an upgrade on Martins imho. You're almost always completely wrong. Sorry, but saying Lovenkrands is better than Martins because he scored a rebounded goal against West Brom is a bit daft to be honest. Same with the Jonas comment, he's going to be crucial to us staying up based on the mayhem and forward movement he causes alone. I'd say he was better for the current NUFC team even if he hadn't scored. Different players are good for differen types of teams, and I think Lovenkrands is raising the game of the five midfielders/attackers surrounding him, making him better for the team we've got. Martins is a complete individual, and Jonas is more suited to a different type of team. I'd love to spend time explaining myself, but I'm getting ready to go out. Someone PM me in 24 hrs if I haven't produced an uber-post on this. What a fucking heed-the-ball you are.

Again, if James & Asprilla aren't playing, that would mean Tony Warner and Kitson would play...how's that better than seeing Cole, Shearer & Grobelaar? James and Asprilla played though. Isn't that his point? Wouldn't be able to get those two to take part, so it should logically be those who were on the bench behind them if it's to be a true re-creation? I might have got it horribly wrong though Ah right gotcha.

No, no, no, absolutely not. Tinpot as fuck. If you can't keep track of the score or the team, you shouldn't be in the stadium to start with.

All the "best" players that have left thus far wanted to leave. Why can't people realise that? Clubs who want to go places don't sell their best players whether they want to go or not. They keep them, go forwards and make them want to stay. Can't see Gareth Barry braying at the Villa door again this summer. I'll take your Barry, and raise you Henry. Ill also look forwards to seeing where Drogba and Ronaldo end up, not that it adds anything yours or my point, as neither of us have one. Ronaldo's still at Man Utd, despite wanting to be away two summers on the bounce. Ditto Drogba really.
