  1. Poor showing today but Arsenal were absolutely superb. Someone should take a sledgehammer to Ameobi's hip because he's a much worse player since that operation. I thought Michael Owen showed again today why he doesn't work as one of two strikers, especially away from home, he just doesn't have enough to his game in terms of pace or strength to contribute enough but works in that withdrawn role because he's got good control and good passing ability. That 4-3-3 is still where we'll see the best of him imo. I'm tempted to unban Shithead to ask him what DVD of Jonas he was watching. Superb again in difficult circumstances. I didn't hear the commentary in the pub but even the camera work from Setanta was disgracefully biased, particularly the quite blatantly pre-recorded footage of Ashley and his pint and the seventeen camera angles of Joey Barton SHAMEFULLY SMILING (Constable! Arrest this man!) after winning the ball was laughable.
  2. AFC: Manuel Almunia, Bacary Sagna, Kolo Toure, William Gallas ©, Gael Clichy, Emmanuel Eboue, Denilson, Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri, Robin van Persie, Emmanuel Adebayor
  3. That's not a bad side tbf. Shola to score the winner. I'd have him up front ahead of Smith every day and twice on Sundays.
  4. 1609: PENALTY SAVED 1608: PENALTY TO EVERTON 1605: PENALTY SAVED Robert Green gets down brilliantly low to his left to save Jason Roberts' spot-kick. 1605: PENALTY TO BLACKBURN
  5. http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/newcastleunited/sundaysun/tm_headline=keegan-relaxed-over-owen-s-future-at-united%26method=full%26objectid=21590589%26siteid=61634-name_page.html Does that sound to you like someone who's expecting a player to be sold soon? Unless ofcourse Harper is leaving this week too, in which case I concede error. If someone bids £12m for Harper this week, he'll go. You can take my word for it.
  6. Exhibit A: - Keegan bigging Milner up a few days before is just a way of getting more money for him. Keegan has recently sung the praises of Ameobi and Smith. Do you think Keegan really doesn't want to sell them either? Two letters. B & S. For weeks before Milner was sold Keegan was saying how he hoped the board would give Milner the contract he wanted, and Keegan also openly confessed that he was never involved in those negotiations. Ofcourse Keegan is going to say the decision was his - Imagine if he said otherwise? The fact that KK had to actually make a statement to allay fears of a rift between himself and the board speaks volumes in itself. Link? Keegan, like us all, could never have foreseen a £12m bid for an average player.
  7. Fantasy points. Got him as my captain today. I reckon Alves will get a hatful this season.
  8. Interesting that Ranger seems to have pushed in front of Zamblera despite being a year younger.
  9. Charlie has to play left and Jonas right, it's the only combination we've got left.
  10. Happy/sad? Well as long as the main man's back in action, I'll be confident enough. http://www.bbc.co.uk/tyne/content/images/2006/12/24/martins_470x320.jpg http://www.bbc.co.uk/tyne/content/images/2007/01/15/martins_416x300.jpg http://www.bbc.co.uk/tyne/content/images/2007/10/23/nufcspurs4_470x380.jpg http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/44525000/jpg/_44525186_martins_pa.jpg Hoping for Collocini to put Modric's horrible elfen face in Level 7 as well.
  11. I do not fucking believe we've drawn them cunts.
  12. Dont shoot the messenger. How would we know you're the messenger since you've not posted a source for this drivel?
  13. For some reason, you've not posted the source but it's quite clearly the Sun and it's quite clearly bollocks so I'm not sure why you bothered posting any of it tbh.
  14. Why am I never the one that gets to do rent-a-quote for the Sun btw? "One Toon fan last night told us to fuck off"
  15. That article. "Shamefully misled" "Their clean cut young hero" Tell you what, I'd give anything for Barton to come off the bench and score the winner tomorrow. I can almost hear the vomiting on Fleet Street already.
  16. The only depth ashley is interested in is the depth of the notes in his wallet. We are now officially a selling club,With no ambition, Back to the dark days of lord westwood, Keegan would have walked away from newcastle if he didint need the money. Oh be quiet man.
  17. Didn't they start really poorly last year too? Two draws and a defeat at Citeh iirc.
  18. Bet they have not even seen the man play - Muppets Written by a woman.. Garth's sister.
  19. He'll flop. Money on the table.
  20. Aye I reckon you've nailed it there. Hope the twat gets strung up over this corruption charge.
