What a fucking pisser to concede like that after the most one-sided first half I've seen for ages. With a striker we'd have been out of sight.

Oliver peddling a story about Stephane Mbia in the Chronicle.

Not even the end of August and we're already in a striker crisis. We definitely need one before the window shuts.
-
What do you reckon our chances are next week, SG? Will we face a backlash or will you be poor again?

Said pretty much the same thing here. They should do what they do on planes when they're not full - offer upgrades to some of the plebs in economy. If anything it'll take the pressure of the staff in the concourse. In previous seasons, there has always been a steward stopping the commoners from getting into the bar area but there wasn't one there on Saturday. Seemed like an invite to go in and make the place look a bit busier.

There were definitely a significant number of sceptics but I literally jumped for joy when I heard he was in and today I'm even more convinced he's the right man for the job. I'd be surprised if many had changed their mind for the worse but I bet there's a fair few who've been won round.

N'Zogbia's not playing wide left though and hasn't for well over a year.

And Barca winning the CL with Eto'o, Ronaldinho and Messi up top. ..and Man U winning the ultimate physical Premier league with midgets like Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez for that matter? Rooney's a fucking battering ram though.

Not HTT pretending to be ITK again please.

Jonas has put some cracking balls in, Taylor's header against Valencia for a start. He put a peach in with his left foot too, I think against PSV. Deserves a chance before getting written off I think. I thought it was fairly obvious last season that Geremi was the best crosser at the club (apart from his corners which he consistently disappoints with). Everyone made their mind up about him after about three games last season when he's actually a fine player, he has a mare every now and then but has loads of end product. Milner's crossing seems to be getting worse (the season with the Sib he was pretty consistent) and Duff's just a plain and simple disgrace.

Yep Where is it from? Spain by the looks of it.

Fuck off, we don't want your sort on here.

I sit right in front of the bar area in the Leazes End and I was shocked by the amount of empty seats behind me. It's gone from full every game to a couple of dozen people. They are probably paying near double what I pay to sit one row further back though.
-
I've never seen Malouda have a good game. I really can't see us signing yet another winger anyway.
-
His corners are rubbish but his crossing is generally pretty good. That's the third Owen header from Geremi's delivery, the pair of them combine really well.

That's the South Tyneside edition though, the Newcastle one says "Newcastle? Fuck off!"

Not the greatest performance but I think we deserved to win despite nearly shooting ourselves in the foot with the penalty (Steven, keep your fucking hands out the way for Christ's sake). Bolton are a horrible team who tried to do the same as last season and kill the game stone dead but Owen and Geremi are such a good combination from wide and their quality shone through. Oh, and hat trick against Hartlepool or not, I stand completely uncorrected on Damien Duff.

They'd run out of gin last time I was there Like that as a pre-match pub because you can look out the window down at the momument, which seems to be a magnet for hilarious mental folk. Watching a tramp dance to a peruvian band is always good entertainment on a saturday morning. Last time we were in, we were choosing the people we'd take out if given a sniper rifle. Needless to say, we were spoilt for choice.

You're right about Citeh, if that was us David Craig would have been camped outside SJP for the last six weeks.

Yeah, we're not signing Senderos.
