No way is Tiote good enough for Chelsea..

Amazing news this, simply amazing.

Considering Cisse was apparently Pardew's top target for over 12 months, you think he would have had a system in mind to accomodate him, espcially now we have him here. Problem as I see it at the moment is not Cisse, its the fact Cabaye is playing shite and is not offering the range of passing and movement he was before his ban.

Those highlights just prove even more to me he has to start every game. His control will get even better (as will his decision making). He does hold on to it too long sometimes, although as his team mates get to know him, this will improve as he will have better options. Having said all that, I am not sure anyone will ever work out what he is going to do next! Tino anyone?

Needs time to settle still. My only criticism is his close control lets him down a fair bit. He does not seem to like being a target player either. The later point should not be an issue, would just like to see better control of the ball. He will most certainly be a massive player for us. We just need a lot more creativity coming from wide and also decent balls through on the floor. He will definitely latch on to them.

I would rather miss out of Europa personally, that is if Ashley will not invest in a much bigger squad. Look at Stoke and Birmingham and how it effected them! Although Birmingham are now on a nice run. I think it takes to much out of a team early in the season, hence 6-7 new players would probably be required.

Points from last 6: 4: Arsenal 5 (43 pts) 5: Chelsea 9 (43 pts) 6: Newcastle 12 (42 pts) 7: Liverpool 5 (38 pts) 6 points from the next two games would keep the pressure on this lot for sure. As it is, depite 2 heavy defeats, we are the most in-form team in the battle for 4th. A massive push from all concerned and 4th is a possible IMO.

I agree, however, I think AP and even the board would realise that additional players would be needed to cover the additional games. If they did not invest we would be screwed, if they did, I think we would be okay. Personally I would love to be back in Europe with further squad strengthening.
