Another gallant defeat to Man City - the habit continues. Thought we played well, but the extra class told in the end. We desperately need another experienced striker in, as Riv still looks very green (though he looks powerful and has a good touch) He lacked support though, which was down to Pardew's 3 man midfield. Season has to start next week - having a good go at Man City is all very well and good, but it needs to be the same against the rest. I'm not convinced that will happen under this manager. #pardewout.

We are gonna get torn a new one, today. It's perhaps the strangest start to a new season that I can remember for many, many years. Not much optimism around and many want the manager gone, asap (which I agree with)

Many of the nationals seem to be going for him and Ashley now, given this 'media deal' with The Sun (even if it hasn't been signed off) Club and Pardew are fighting a losing battle, though our manager is just that fucking thick skinned that he doesn't care.
