Heard an interesting call on Total Sport last night - fella made a comment on the Keegan court-case (where those running the club admitted to lying to fans and the local media), which was nipped in the bud by the host. His excuse was because it was a court case, that it couldn't be discussed - despite the admissions of the club being proven. Opens up a bigger question though in that do the local media (BBC/ITV, Journal and the Chon) back the club and the regime too much? It's my thinking that the media are there to represent the likes of us and not align themselves with the club in order to get a first break on new stories. Any thoughts ladies and gentlemen?

I felt we weren't as bad as some made out tonight - plenty of huff and puff, but no real creativity or pace. Strikers are only as good as the service they receive, which was non-existent tonight. Typical of our luck to now lose Shola, but it also shows the short-sightedness of Ashley in not bringing in another striker when we needed one anyway (without selling Carroll) It's very much going to be a limp to the end of the season, judging by that. Just hope that it's enough to keep us up.
