Tiote was spot on today - practically ran the game on his own

I'd be interested in a loan deal for him - however, a big fee/wages would be a worry on a permanent basis. Attitude problems aren't a good thing.

Joe Cole scored for the scousers according to 5Live. Gyan makes it 3-0 for the mackems.

It's getting too tight at the bottom. Someone is gonna end up in free-fall - just hope it's not us.

Zero chances created and the inevitable 1-0 defeat if that happens. -

I'd go with the above. Ranger with Shola will at least give us a bit of pace and guile - Nolan is far too static (and easily picked up) when he plays off the front man. Also Barton back to MR in place of the inadequate Routledge. Just wish we had an option (bar Shane Ferguson) to replace Jonas - there is a man who knows his place is safe come what may. -
Good news - pity we have to wait until Feb to see him again though. Guess it means that he is progressing and expected to make a full recovery.

As much as we need extra quality coming in, it's not gonna happen lads. Ashley's intent has always been to keep us up on the cheap. Nothing has changed in that respect. Even if we go down, Ashley won't lose because he'll still get parachute payments and has then got an 'excuse' to sell Carroll. Dark days ahead.

I'd have Ranger in for Nolan and Harper back for Krul. I'd also take a look at the DC pairing. -

A case of not our day, as well as being let down by poor defending. The defence is being a cause for concern because due to the suspensions of Wliiamson and Colo, we have been unable to get a settled DC pairing and when Taylor and Campbell have come in, they've hardly set the world alight. Nolan misses for Spurs on Tuesday, due to picking up a 5th booking of the season. It's gonna be a season of results like this - all that matters though is getting to that 40points total asap. I'd also look to replace Jonas down the left because he offers us f**k all.
