  1. I'm hoping for burn out, an FA Cup drop off for Wigan, anything. I fancy Villa have more chance of losing their nerve than Wigan however the cup game goes. Sickening to be in the position where this needs to be said, but hope the mackems absolutely batter them tomorrow.
  2. The problem for us is that we look like having to rely on others being as shit as us and they aren't, both Villa and Wigan are playing far better than we are. We need at least one of those to change because they are playing well enough to pick up points, we're not. I just can't see it. Not one of the teams around us look like they could turn into the fucking shambles we have become.
  3. Still staggers me how some of you can remember that far back.
  4. When have you ever heard that from any manager? Genuine question. My memory is shot. What is said in the media has sod all to do with what is said behind closed doors. We'll fuck 'em.
  5. Hope so. I meant for Hillsborough, i read in the Everton - QPR match report that there was one today. Ah right, fair enough. Not heard owt.
  6. I like bottleddog, but that's a disgraceful post But... but, regional pride! As if it was serious man.
  7. I hope you are taking the piss marra, mackem kernt Taking that as a 'No, I have no wider regional pride' vote. Is Sunderland something to be proud of? Maybe. Fleetingly. Like that pride you feel when your idiot dog makes the decision not to roll around in the fox shit he's just encountered. /what the hell am I saying. Christ no.

  9. If it means maintaining a strong North East presence in the league, would anyone here prefer to see a Sunderland win tomorrow?
  10. One of the victims, Steve Wraith. Steve Wraith has not been affected directly. Steve Wraith is however upset, and condemns all forms off telephony terror. Howay the lads.

Absolutely. Proud of all of them, and we nearly pulled it off (and no surprise at all when we got hit on the break in our attacking spell, that was always the risk against Benfica). Bring on the Mackems!

No, sacking him now would be daft. Even I know that much. Then I agree with what you are saying, just your timing is off. People can't see past their noses, end of the season when all we've got to show for it is a bottom half finish and our top players being linked to other clubs, then people will start looking at the bigger picture. Oddly enough, it seems to me that looking at the bigger picture is precisely why people are finding it reasonable to see Pardew start another season. Not sure why you feel a few more games would dramatically change peoples view on either side of the argument. If you back Pardew for another season, you deserve to see us relegated. Good lord.

There was absolutely fuck all lucky about the win. 'Lucky boy'. What patronising horse shit.

    Absolutely delighted to hear it.
  16. Still, can't help but love it. Come on you fuckers, lets do 'em.
  17. This sort of tripe is getting worse and worse. It's truly embarrassing.

Aye, would be nice. The thing I'm missing most at the moment though is goals. Fair enough with only a misfiring Cisse and a not exactly a natural finisher in Gouffran as options before you end up with Ameobi you can see why we're struggling. But I'd fucking love to see us give someone a drubbing again (and my right arm for another 5-1 against Sunderland).

It happens on both sides tbf, the difference is I can fully understand the boring hysteria of the "KILL PARDS" crew, they're just passionate about their club to the extent that it retards them. The "LEAVE PARDS ALONE" lot are baffling though, at the very least you have to accept that Pardew isn't the best man for the job and the club could be light years better off if they went with another man.t hat isn't even debatable imo, he's an average manager in charge of a club that should be battling for the top 4 every season. Since when? Not saying it shouldn't be an obvious aim, and maybe we're in a decent position to build towards having another tilt at it, but to expect that is a bit rich. Historically as a club we'd struggle to average top 8 to 10 consistently, nevermind top 4.

And yet, tediously enough, it's not.
