In what respect? Christ on a bicycle. As I say I have no big beef to grind with the lad, but wish that our deeming Simpson unworthy of an acceptable contract in his eyes suggests we believe he is not good enough for a first team spot (and its commensurate remuneration) and that we believe we have improved on him as an option at right back. I hope that this is the case.

Hope to see him back in some capacity soon. Good luck fella.

Can tell you've never managed a successful team. It's not their normal bonus It's stupid, likely to engender disaffection and demotivation amongst non-playing staff when the players let them down again. You have to ask why would anyone do that at all, let alone do it so publicly? Absolute nonsense. It's like someone sticking a free bet on for you. I'm not going to be upset with anyone if we lose, but I'll be chuffed if it works and it certainly adds an added interest to a nothing game. It's the last part of your post that seems to be fairly key. Simply sticks in the throat for some just seeing Ashleys name in the papers.

Good luck to him. A great buy at the time, seemed canny, and always put in a good shift for us. Hopefully his leaving is a sign of progress though.

So make it dependent on the final league position rather than a one game lottery, a more or less meaningless one for the players as well, in which the chances of him actually having to pay out are pretty damn slim. I think the initiative is PR related, but I still can't figure out why or how this benefits him or us. Didn't that quote say it would have been given for a top 8 finish, with a 25% payrise if they'd got 5th? It's a pretty good gesture given we've missed both of those. This this this. Many of the non playing staff have also missed out on bonus' relating to our league position. To add an extra spark to the last game of the season he's offering a chance to still get a bit of a bonus if we get a result and maybe end up a couple of places higher. An unnecessary gamble for him, but a welcome and potentially generous offer to those who've missed out. Goodness knows what Interpolic finds so fucking offensive about it.

Me Sames. Looks like we're going to inundated with Wonga Wankers then. Ashley must be laughing his bollocks off how unprincipled and easily led the stupid Geordies are. http://blog.agendize.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/OhNoLady.jpg OH JAMES! -

Our away kit has apparently gone from a busted flush to bleedin' lush.

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll

Think of him simply being an upgrade on Shola. At the right price, he would be a fantastic addition. -
Doesn't that lower the ante? A trophy is infinitely better than finishing 4th.
-
We're not going down that route are we? Why would the club have anything to do with some spotty herbert work placement (fresh from graduating from Newcastle Mad dot com) on a subsection of another companies website?
-
Ok, so most people are taking survival over an FA Cup. Let's up the ante. Survival or Champions League qualification?
-
Poyet?? I would take Martinez.....Both are Definitely affordable.... Despite his bollocks post Haïdara, Martinez is infinitely more attractive than Poyet. More than infinitely.

http://i.imgur.com/0GQ1rjt.png I know I am obviously missing something, but wtf is that? Fook knows. I'm going for melted cheese. We dids melted cheese.

If it was luck, we're pretty far from being SPECTACULARLY unlucky. It's a 1 in 758 chance to roll an FA Cup win.

They've just left with 2 young gold digging types. Excellent. Show him what he'll be missing if he heads back to Argentina with his missus girls.

Some. You appear to have missed off a fitness coach/medical bods.

Who fancies having a thoroughly fruitless protest against Pardew?

I'm very relieved and pretty optimistic that things won't be so horrendous. But I'll need a lot of persuading to be quite as optimistic as Ben Arfa about getting our shit together and fighting at the top of the table again next season.

A fully fit Krul & HBA is worth about 10 points a season alone imo. If he's lucky and they stay fit I'd imagine we'll stumble to around 50 points. Plus I reckon Cisse will get an extra half dozen goals. Nothing of Pardew's doing but players alone will get us around the upper mid-table mark. i don't think next season will be as bad, however if cabs & hba etc. are dead set against playing for this joker again next season and start demanding moves i think they might can pardew in favour of keeping a group of players together that they've worked very hard to acquire...it's probably our best hope also hoping that if he's been told he's in the job it's simply to keep his mouth shut in the press while they search for a replacement Did you read his post game comments? He seemed incredibly positive about next season at the club.

Agree with that myself. I'd like to think protests would work but Ashley doesn't give a shit what the fans think unless it effects the money coming in, let's be honest. Disagree. Of course protest and anger makes a difference to him, it's the main reason he sighted for trying to offload the club at a loss after the Keegan debacle. People showing anger inside or outside the ground has a much more noticable impact to a slow trickle of people giving up supporting the club to sit and watch games on their computers.
