Romain Amalfitano joins Dijon permanently for an undisclosed fee
BottledDog replied to stozo's topic in Football
According to their Forum - Played well until until the end of August when he had effectively tied up the transfer, then he was an indifferent insufferable cunt for the rest of the season, playing dreadfully, almost costing them promotion, until he was ultimately dropped from the team. Signed off fairly well with a couple of good performances, but only had a total of two decent months this season. Most would not be surprised to see him struggle and be loaned back. If he does work out though, he may be a decent option in an area Pardew highlighted as a problem - free kicks/corners. -

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18165334 BBC are almost as bad as clubcall these days. Chowdrey just took the stories last night and at 8 this morning sticks it up under a definitive headline. Useless tosser. -
He's so two-faced in the media. Sure he said last week we should be looking to finish 5th or higher again next season (something along those lines anyway, sure CL was mentioned). Gimme the quotes.

To "quote" Pardew, 'The chances of Foster getting an England callup at Celtic are fucking zero. You can't prove owt playing Scottish football, you'd be better falling off the face of the world in any International bosses eyes'.

Good to see. Proper old school player who cares not about the money, but the challenge.

Top tip! 25-1 to be the next West Ham manager. Hope we get decent compensation.

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

Cabaye speaks good English. Doubt it would be hard for him to learn 'son of a whore'. Can't imagine Cahill losing his shit or Cabaye feeling moved to formally apologise over 'son of a whore' to be fair. -

Aye, it'd be typical of him to carry on what he's already been doing. alienating young Fans. I watched the Man city manu games, and had us on radio/ stream. on sunday at my Parents. My nephew was there and he is well into football/ the toon. i was explaining to him what pardew had said in the Phone in about selling players if big clubs come in. He basically said ' I hate this supporting Newcastle.' thats the future for the club. Future? Unless you're Real Madrid, It's pretty much always been that way; if anything it's slightly less so now we are in Europe. Gotta love the fact that we currently have a good number of players I'd actually be afraid of losing. -

Would be tempted to put a RAWK style ban on this shit. Pointless getting het up about rumours like this until something actually detrimental happens. -
I found one! I found a decent looking mackem! What do I win?

Following on from HBA, Cabaye has a new website coming out next Tuesday apparently. -
Still injured apparently but am not convinced.. he is gone and Petch is a much better player, seems Danny does not fancy European football next season. Do you think the big protective boot on his foot is just for show? Let him off then, have not seen that Still say he is off though http://i.imgur.com/WupJ5.jpg Who's the shorter lad with Sammy? Never seen him before. Looks nowt like Tavernier if that's who it is. Looks a bit spazzy in that picture, but pretty sure it is Tavs.

He certainly has to be fair. Went mental when they sacked Hughton and the first day or so we knew about Pards, but then quickly found reasons to start defending him once there were calls for protest inside the ground.

She walking like John Wayne this morning?

Eh, 'it's a statue ffs'? It fails, imho obviously, to either impress technically or convey any feeling for the man himself, and a statue should have at least one of those attributes. Instead the sculptors limitations distract from the peice to the point that it makes people annoyed that this is what we have to imortlise Bobby. I think he deserved a damn sight better. As POOT said, art is subjective, so fair enough if people like it, great. But for me it's depressingly closer to your Southhampton or mackum statues than our Milburn or his Ipswitch efforts. Nar http://www.shoutingatco.ws/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/ted-bates.jpg Whey, when I said 'closer', it was a fairly big scale.
