Happy for Hughton of course, but have no interest in seeing Birmingham anywhere near the premiership if at all possible.

Probably when the lads are booed off on Saturday Worryingly it doesn't take much imagination to see that actually happening. -
A decent centre half and a tricky striker would be a fantastic boost if possible. Other than that, I'm happy as a sand boy; there are enough good players trying to break into the team as it is.

I swear down, the way you keep banging on, if Marveaux and Santon ever get a proper game, they better be 'A' grade s*** off a stick awesomeness or I will be mightily peeved. I'm just slightly annoyed that we don't play our strongest XI when available. Obviously we're unbeaten, but still, they're not exactly bench material. Probably not, but I'm loathed to complain about having their kind of caliber filling our bench for once. No, seriously, I understand, they're top players that we'd all like to see on the pitch. But Pardew bought all three of them (HBA, Marv, Santon), presumably because he wanted them to get them out there playing. For just that reason alone I'd have no doubt that when they are ready, they'll get their chance.

The fact remains that the only teams we have managed to beat have been poor and you could argue actually significantly poorer than last season. Our defensive record is only the best because the top teams have handed out absolute pummelings (occasionally, to each other) and we have yet to even meet the likes of Man City/United, Chelsea or Liverpool. /Devils advocate

Quick heads up for any Services bods. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20111102/poppies-on-display-against-everton_2281670_2503243? In an additional show of support for the armed forces, the Club has donated 400 tickets to the Tickets for Troops appeal for the games against Everton (5th November), West Brom (21st December), Queens Park Rangers (15th January) and Aston Villa (4th February). These are allocated to servicemen and women via a ballot process online at www.ticketsfortroops.org.uk. Further details for armed forces personnel can be obtained from their base. The Club are also offering a significant number of discounted tickets to members of the armed forces and their families for the same four fixtures. Tickets will be available for just £5 for over 11s and free for under 11s.

£20m should do it. £30m for Tiote if you'd like him too.

How do you know he was the only candidate? I wasn't referring to their shortlist before/when Hughton got sacked, i just mean that he's turned out to be perfect for the job (and thus, the 'only' candidate). That said, it wouldn't surprise me if he was the only name they discussed. There's clearly a relationship there from pre-Newcastle. That's not what Pards claims Aye... i don't believe him. Did you also believe Hughton was a puppet when appointed? Give this article a go - http://www.cracked.com/article_19468_5-logical-fallacies-that-make-you-wrong-more-than-you-think.html

Yes, yes you do. It would be absolutely staggering considering the bore hole has sod all to do with the club, it was a university project nowhere near any training ground. As for being lucky with injuries? As has been said Ben Arfa, and off the top of my head, Taylor, Santon, Guthrie, Williamson, Furguson, Gosling, Vuckic and Tiote have all been missing games this season because of injury and Shola will be out for a good deal longer. Not massively lucky if you ask me.

Mother of Fuck. What the hell is a matter with you?
-
Hopefully not, but I worry slightly that the price of the new tickets means a greater chance of an empty seat that can't be sold on if the holder can't make it (especially when you hear that a number of tickets have been sold to some who have no plans to actually make it over for half the games etc).

Gave up on the big-spending idea a long time ago, quite pleased with the prospect of us being an 'anti-Citeh' I don't think he ever had a big-spending idea, at any point. He said himself that he couldn't compete on spending on his own, hence his call for local investment and a wealthy partner within a year. What he did stop after the protests was the £20m he was willing to put into the club every year (something that barely covered the loses at the time).

Keys: "What does Alan Pardew do?" Taylor: "Er.......not a lot"
-
Eh? Just some daftie on 5 live. Daftie? Malcolm Dix, esteemed NUFC honorary vice president for life? You might have a point tbf, clearly high as a kite.
-
Pretty soon, it would be nice for some statement from him to admit some of his errors and then ask for reconciliation.

What a dreadful arguement to pick. CT's said nothing particularly wrong here.

Newcastle United are aware of a racist remark that was directed towards Sammy Ameobi via Twitter on Sunday evening (October 30). The club and Sammy have reported the matter to the police, who are now dealing with the incident. The racist comment is wholly unacceptable. Newcastle United will not tolerate racism of any kind and will take the strongest possible action against those responsible.

Proved everybody wrong? Nah. There were a fair few who saw him not only as a good manager, but one who could be a good fit and had faith in him as a character after Hughtons harsh sacking. Our run has been extraordinary though, more than I could have hoped for.
