  1. We won. It's the 5th time in a row we've done that. Pardew isn't going anywhere so the best thing to do is to forget him, support the players and enjoy watching a winning team. If you can't do that it may be time to look for another hobby as following NUFC clearly isn't doing it for you. I don't like Pardew either and never will (look at my avatar) but all this wanting us to lose and not celebrating when we score or win is just plain silly. It's up to anyone how they support the team, if thats how you feel that's fine but telling people to "look for another hobby" isn't fair. Wanting us to lose isn't supporting the team. In your opinion. Look up the definition of "supporter" in the dictionary then. No. Some people look for the bigger picture. Happened against Souness, is happening now. You don't want to do it. That's up to you. No one is slagging the team. People want the best for NUFC. You don't get to dictate to people what being a supporter is. So what about those who grief the players when they lose the ball? They "supporting" the team are they? A fair few people who also want the best for NUFC (sometimes just random bods in the stands), have copped a lot worse on here recently than a gentle suggestion to find a new hobby to be fair.
  2. They would have been quite high. Didn't expect this at all. Fantastic turnaround. /lumps everything on a QPR away win.
  3. You mean the quotes some are taking as Cabella already being written off? Yes, yes they are.
  4. What is ridiculous? Of course the Greek teams boss is upset, but all I said was that Abeid is here because nobody matched our valuation of him. That's not to say he was classed as a grade A fecking purple but we saw enough in him not to sell him for a pittance or send him out on loan again. Kakas 'terrifying' post regarding our staff seemed over the top so I responded. Are there many kids we've let go who have gone on to become top players in recent years? Can't think of many, if any tbh. Abeid is not one either, despite how close the Greks felt they had got to pinching him.
  5. Shit timing for him. Gawd knows where he'll be mentally after another lay off.
  6. Because spending time going over all the fuckups concentrates every ounce of negativity into a sustained dose that drives us into a downward spiral of hate and loathing going beyond a general 'things are shit, mainly down to the manager who surely has run his course by now, and I hope to fuck this De Jong lad is the missing link to a side that in theory has potential' to an 'every minutiae is terrible forever. I can't support the team because the team, and the club, and the manager, and even people and fellow supporters I loved can't see what I'm seeing so that even the likes of Shearer and Beardsley are now worse than dog shit for it. The club has literally been ripped away from the very fabric of my soul. It is dead to me.'? It's no fun at the moment but if we start doing well I'm not going to resent it. If we don't then inevitably Pardew will get sacked off. Just gotta be patient...
  7. Pretty non plussed about a screen, but they seem to be in most grounds now and the replays are pretty good for us um... short arses occasionally. 60m2 seems pretty standard. Man City have two 60m2 screens, and guessing Tottenhams are the same, but Arsenals are both 72m2 as far as I can see, so not sure about the joint biggest claim?
  8. Still don't get why that video produced such a reaction from you twunts (liked the 'filthy heretics' bit mind). Just because I still find undiluted praise tough to take seriously (that's not just for Keegan tbh), I still love what he represents, hell, I just called out Ashley for fucking him over what, 3 posts ago? Not sure what that's got to do with me challenging KI over the Ashley quotes either, bar you just dismiss it again as wummery. If so, then you should find it easy enough to put an argument against what I've said...
  9. Regarding Keegans involvement in transfers? Aye. So everything else is just, what? Observable? Fuck knows. You suggested Ashley lied about the threats, but he didn't as far as I'm concerned. They certainly mislead us on how much say Keegan had over transfers, but beyond that piece of cuntery they seem to be either fairly straightforward, or simply fail to say much about anything.
  10. Regarding Keegans involvement in transfers (because that's all that is about)? Aye.
  11. No, he never said 'Northumbria Police advised him not to'. Nevertheless, the journalists asked Northumbria Police whether they were the ones that had advised him and they said they hadn't. This place is f***ing toxic. There clearly isn't enough to damn the club if people still feel the need to twist every little thing. Fucking leave then, nee one would be arsed. http://www.wibwnewsnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/shots-fired-gun-shooting-crime-police.jpg Boom. Headshot.

This place is f***ing toxic. There clearly isn't enough to damn the club if people still feel the need to twist every little thing. Ashley and his cronies never lie... LOL Theyve been full of it since they bought the club Its so bad even Llambias couldn't take it anymore. I'd say the club have been surprisingly open about their intentions, certainly in regards to cups and investment. They are idotic when it comes to providing the team with an ambitious and capable manager though, so idiotic in fact that they fucked over the one they did bring in. The judge in the court case regarding Keegan only went as far as stating they misled the press/public over the the amount of control Keegan had over transfers (for no apparent gain), nowt more tbf. Just don't get this constant 'lying' stuff. Same with Pardew but for different reasons, the guy seems to believe in all the guff he spouts. He's just a fucking fraud for the most part.

  15. He was ace.. even when he was having a pop at Haidara. Saying that, bar a brain fart of a back pass, Taylor looked pretty good as well. Would happily have him replace Williamson as it stands.
  16. You wot? Er... Nar. Was a great ending, but nobody was cheering Pardew (equally nobody chanted against him the whole game either, though he was miles away from us tbf). Fucking extra time buggered up post match pints tho. For that I'll happily blame the bastard.
  17. Selamat mencoba dan bersenang-senang!
  18. Thing is, ask any fan in the country about their club's ownership and very few will be really happy - even those at clubs with mega rich owners spending crazy money are, in the main, not totally comfortable with it. Ours gets a lot of attention because he's a high profile retailer but other than him I'd struggle to name many, apart from the Glazers, Short and Gibson. Even the nutters at Hull, Cardiff and QPR's names escape me despite all the press they get. Our ownership is little more than symptomatic of what English football has become in the 21st century. We're certainly not unique. The manager issue is different. They do vary enormously. However for Saturday's protest to have failed so miserably, despite a year of poor results, last week's 4-0 hammering and being 2-0 down at home raises a lot of questions about how they went about it. It was a moment when they had everything going for them. My feeling is that Newcastle fans in the main are just sick of gimmicky protests and the embarrassment they cause. We've had poorly attended marches, mock funerals, open top buses, billboards etc. We've waved flags, banners etc and had more splinter protest groups than most could remember. It seems to achieve little more than bringing a few extra press vultures up from London for a weekend hoping to pile more ridicule on us. Backslapping each other about a well organised protest - which it obviously wasn't - and to have those who did want protest calling the 48,500 or so who didn't, "sheep", "cunts", "knackers" "idiots" or whatever is not really the way forward. Or maybe it is in their eyes ? What is needed is a sane, rational, non-gimmicky agenda which engages the majority of match attending supporters and the city in general. That or a practical, business savvy consortium like the original Magpie Group who would be taken seriously. Think the protest failed pretty much down to one thing. Sure, the Colloccini and others asking for backing and the stewards removing a proportion of flyers didn't help, also the mixed feelings of doing something that might affect the expression of support for Jonas and the team played a part. But I think the fact that it was suggested people do something at a specific time was a killer. People angry going into the ground felt thy needed to hold back before venting and it killed the mood. It's fine for a round of applause, but plenty were sitting on their hands waiting for a reaction at 5 minutes and when it was sporadic at best, like fuck were they going to hold up an A4 sheet and join in.
