Fingers crossed. Good point that. Is it ?. JFK bought the two players who have given us two of our best moments. Ryan 'over the wall' Taylor. Kevin 'hat trick in the 5-1' Nolan. Is his judgement on a player that bad........... Hmmmmm. Good point that.

Couldnt he buy out his contract at some point in the summer? There's a load of players who could do that every summer. You very rarely hear about a player doing it though. Expensive business. Reckon they've tried, but couldn't get the slider on the Wonga site to go further than £2m. -
We could sign both Siem and Luuk, to replace Cabaye, though two De Jong's don't make a right. Booom!
-
And that'll be used as a good thing, we have De Jong lalalalalala f*** off. We need to replace Cabaye now. Was only this morning that lalalalala was being said but for excuses for no signings. We get one in and the lalalala is still coming out to play. If we sign a midfielder will it be....lalalalala offer for Cabaye too good to repalce, f*** off Pardew You're a moron. Just no need for the fuck off. We've just signed De Jong, you should be happy and hoping we can get a deal done for a Cabaye replacement. Not doom and gloom making up excuses Pardew will be saying and just saying fuck off. I don't even mind if get Cabella in the summer rather than now. Don't think it's that much of a big deal that we have to recruit now if we've lined him up for the summer. Wow fucking wee, we've signed another player on loan. You do know we still haven't signed a player permentely this season? I've said it a couple of times now but if we sign no one permanently this window. By the end of the season we wouldn't have signed a senior player for 18 months. When was the last time a team went that long without doing that. Fuck, knew it. Mike Ashley has done all he can to save us from this fate, but the last team to do this must have been Portsmouth. We're doing a Portsmouth!

...especially now the club is actively avoiding competing in it That old chestnut. Avoiding a top 6 finish, are you really that thick? Do you honestly believe we will throw matches just so we fall short of it? Not so much throwing matches but selling our best player and the severe lack of incoming transfers do suggest they don't want to finish top 6. Add to that a lot of the quotes attached to Pardew which belittle the Europa League and it does appear that they would rather not have the hassle. They've already accepted they aren't too arsed about Cup competitions so why would they want to qualify for another. I think you may be being naive. Pardew wants to finsih as high up the league table as possible, to think otherwise is mental. The players themselves will be in the same boat trying to push for it as well, precisley why we are only 7 points of a champions league spot. Not that i think we are capable of getting in that position but at least they are keeping themselves in touch with the top 6 teams and not just folding away like other clubs have. Pardew doesn't get what he wants, that's not the way the club is ran. The powers that be will be doing all they can to avoid another Europa League campaign. It's almost been admitted in interviews/fan meetings. It's nonsense. The powers that be have said that the Premiership takes priority over cup competitions (inc. Europe presumably). Not that we don't want to be in them, they implied if nothing else it gave a chance for lesser squad players. Pardew on the other hand has repeatedly said he wants to win something, and to get into Europe. He would prefer to have a squad capable of competing in it and has often voiced concerns over the format of the Europa League and wants it to change, but that does not mean he or the club want to finish lower in the league to avoid it ffs.

Just checked and not even his nan is French. This does not bode well for team spirit.
-
Hell noooo we wouldn't, we'd save the club having to pay the players and all the club staff the top ten bonus! If I was Ashley I'd sack him now for being as high as we are.

Sigh. Go on then, tell me... You're hurting Jimmymags club. Stop it. -
We complained? To whom? Think he was referring to posters on here. Not sure I've ever complained about Sunderlands shit signings to be fair. De Jong, Ben Arfa, and Remy may be loans, but only because we were unable to sign them in the first instance.

Mm. Unusual optimism from him. If you call 60-40 being optimistic... http://thechronic.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/47030826_giggsoriginal.jpg

We aren't in a CL spot or fighting for one. So we should be rightly be worried, we can't offer Cabaye that. What is so bad about that? I'd be wondering why we're not fighting for one? Pardew has addressed that today, saying we could be up there fighting for a champions league place within 2 weeks time (especially if we keep Cabaye). And his responsibility is to get in there so that we can keep players happy. -

Or we can position ourselves against it by not going to the game. You can be men or cowards. This. What will you be r0cafella. A man, or a coward? -
Mm. Unusual optimism from him. He said he thought it was 60/40 we'd get the striker. Not massively optimistic to be fair.

Might get summoned to London for a bollocking for that. Well he's clearly a bit narked going by that last paragraph in particular. http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/alan-pardew-cabaye-number-10-role-increased-confidence-value/ -

like he has any say at all, he is losing his best player, team does shit it is his job on the line. The Pardew hatred on here really does blind some. Fucking hell man Skirge, can't you see his delight that he may lose one of his most important players?
