Blimey, fair play like.

Jesus Christ. How can people be this lacking in critical faculties? The hell are you on about? Not spinning a line to us, not tub-thumping in the press; Pardew is directly telling the players to go out and fight for a win as we were still in the running for a European spot. Please gather up your bulging critical faculties, and explain to me how in the chuffing f*** that doesn't put a damper on suggestions he doesn't want the team to get into it. Gouffran's drank the Kool Aid. He's part of the grand conspiracy to make sure everyone think Pardew is a tip top bloke. Jesus Christ man I guess I'll just have to echo Penn : I guess the only answer is that they are lacking education/ are plebs. Since you choose to echo Penn, and lay claim to a rich education along with a nice side line in class snobbery, feel free to also respond to my request for an explanation as to why Gouffrans relevation means bot all. Cheers.

Just read the quotes in the Gouffran thread. Nice to see the nonsense sometimes spouted about Pardew happy to see the team coast and not fight to get into Europe can be put to bed.

Was shocked when he was flagged offside by just how far into the game it was that it happened. Probably wrong, but seemed like it was only the once as well. Felt weird.

Nice to hear, from Cisse in particular. Thought he had just about given up a few weeks ago, but absolutely chuffed for him today.

Would you rather we played Shola? It probably the best team we could have hoped for tbh. With nothing to really play for, why not give Armstrong a go. We're playing the worst team in the league and having nothing to lose, if anything it's a perfect time to try him. Nothing to play for? By all means bring him on at some stage, but there is no reason to suggest he should start a Premiership game we're trying to win when we have two good (whey, historically speaking) strikers fit. Imo we dont, we simply wont be finishing 6th (Europa place). Just my take on it tbf. Two amazingly bad players right now. LDJ? Give over. Even Cisse has been a bit better recently imho. It's a game of football. That's enough to play for. We might not get sixth, but keep winning and it could make things more interesting. That's enough to play for. Fuck it, make my weekend a bit better. That's enough to play for. Read it properly dickface. You see nothing to play for, which I disagree with. You would prefer to start a youth player over Cisse because we have nothing to play for. Again I disagree. What am I missing? Fucknuckle. -

Decent. Really need to win this, would be a right kick in the teeth to cut a good run short so quickly against Fulham. That said, would be just our luck to see that Mitroglou fella bag his first brace. Wait, where the fuck is Mitroglou?? -
Always fancied Alan Cork. Need more hairy baldies in our team to provide balance.
-
Every manager does that though. Pardew lover! Nobody says it quite like Alan.
-
I remain hopeful that we won't. Unlucky, we have. What's he said? What's he said? What's he said? What's he said!
-
Shit news. Be grand to think Cisse might finally get his head together.

Just how much of a debt has he racked up for Asley to 'have something over' him and force him to do his bidding? SanToon suggests 'several thousand pounds', but considering he's flush enough to drop £160,000 in a week just to get to nuzzle a Tiger, I suspect you might think it's more than that. How do you know that he is paying from his own pocket..? Wouldn't be at all surprised if Ashley was paying these fines by giving Pardew a 'bonus'....esp likely in the case of the 60,000. I don't. In my humble opinion you'd have to be a complete loon to actually believe what your saying there though.

Used to live right on the Gosforth side of the moor and could see from upstairs or the bottom of the garden the stadium poking up beyond the trees a couple of miles away. Down right magical on sunny/misty days.
-
I might thinking of that other on hired at the same time, in dispute with Wise recently, he was definitely a cunt. Jimenez. Cunt.
-
Perfectly summed up.

Employing someone he has got to know? Not ridiculous. Employing a manager because he might want to recoup several thousand pounds worth of debt and Pardews managerial ability has no bearing on the decision? Sorry, yes that is indeed an utterly ludicrous suggestion. f*** off man. So what was the Kinnear appointment? Pray tell? Based on his managerial ability was it? His nous? Take your head for a walk man, your condescending s*** is extremely annoying. I hadn't realised Ashely made all his decisions based on the ability of the employee. Good to know No, it was clearly based on some drinking game. f*** me man. Give your own head a shake. Right so the Kinnear one was done in a pub, but when it's pardew it's all about the managerial ability. Escpeially with the record he had before us total and utter shit. Laughable Er, no, that was sarcasm regarding Kinnear. Of course there is more to his appointment than them having the odd drink together. Ashley clearly prioritises people he knows (to some extent over their actual qualifications for the role), and I said as much in my first reply to you. I just asked Sean to explain was why it was obvious Pardew was hired due to a gambling debt. Nothing more. Not sure why that got your knickers in a twist, but it would still be nice to hear some logic behind it.
