Bollocks. That's when i sleep. I'll get behind the lads and Pards between Midday and 10pm, and no later. Part timer.

We all foresaw this happening but there's only Ashley to blame. Anita has been fantastic this season and will fill the gap but we'll no doubt get a replacement, although they'll have big shoes to fill. Hopefully Debuchy doesn't follow him out. Yeah, f*** you Ashley. A normal owner would have given Cabaye the Champions League football he came here for. http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/Smileys/Newcastle-Online/anguish.gif -
What the hell is that supposed to mean? Are you saying we shouldn't give Pardew credit? I certainly wouldn't trust him with a chequebook. Well this is bullshit for a start. The only players Pardew has ever actively chased to buy were Ba, Ashton, Squidward, Lallana and Lambert. Think he's a got a cracking record personally.

I understand that his reputatipon has not impoved in your eyes. But just to gauge the scale, can you give me another bang average left back that you'd historically compare him to? Has he the heart of a Pistone? The solidity of a Babayaro?

Need to update your avatar to Williamson or Ameobi, fella. ....or Pardew!

They made a big point of the fact he was onside on Goals on Sunday tbf.

I think 7th is the best we can realistically hope for with a sneaking possibility of 6th if Spurs go totally off the rails. Either would be good achievements which no one could knock, but we could just as easily end up 13th 18th yet, there's a long way to go and we'll find out a lot more about this team by January. FYP. We've had a decent start, but there's plenty of time left to fall into a death spiral.

Luck or whatever- I would take your f***ing hand off for that. But then we'd have to play in that silly Europa League thing again. The club wouldn't like that. I'm not even being facetious either, they genuinely wouldn't. Means they'd have to spend an 10x more on increased wages than potential prize money. If we did get in Pardew would be told to sack it off imho. Not sure he would though, probably got told the same last time off the accountant twats.

The stubborn get might have played Kluivert alongside Bellamy once in a while if he didn't get sacked a month after Kluivert signed for us. Excuses, excuses. His dropping of Shearer against Villa was actually seen as the final straw by some. Ridiculous.
-
You could argue that a fair percentage of the windows over the past few seasons have seen us come out stronger than we went in, no?
-
He will, he's not gone from a £10m striker to a total turd. But as Robbie Kean said this morning, the disallowed goal will probably keep him back in the funk for another game or two at least.
-
even one of our very best, SBR, would have been fked without Shearer, so was he lucky to have this one striker in form? Nah, would have done him some good. Might have forced the stubborn get to play Kluivert alongside Bellamy once in a while.

Nice one. Probs best to avoid sitting near the majority off here.

I seen that last night. Their ground / crowd makes me envious. I think it's time we looked at safe standing in england, actually haven't man united proposed something recently? Not just ManU, but their interest is important. "The Premier League remains opposed but among its ranks, and with varying degrees of support, Arsenal, West Ham, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Hull, Swansea, Sunderland and Newcastle have expressed interest in allowing trials to take place. Add Manchester United's interest and there might be some squeaky bottoms in the League's central London offices." - The Independant (oct 2013)

Ten off the drop, and just 5 off the top.

What, that they're basically right in their conclusion that 'Mike Ashley blatantly uses his own sports news company to push the sale of his players'? You actually agree with that?
-
Will he ever stop bigging up underperforming players the press keep hassling him about?!? Hope not.
-
Ha, sounds suspiciously like Shepherd brothers shed scenario. Could be now storing merchandising stock in SD facilities to be fair. Would make sense for them and us, especially if the online sales are being handled and distributed via the Sports Direct system.

Happy to accept it as legit, but until we know what it's for (which I can't imagine we'll find out anytime soon/ever) then can't say it bothers me. /Unless it is for mugs. Fuck me man, fair enough it's useful crockery and that, but howay, £500,000!!!
-
For what? New set of mugs.

News to me. Where did you read this then, SportsDirect.com?
