I see. Who's place in the first team are you offering him?
-
What in the hell did you have to go and say that for. 10.

If I saw the game turning and looked at a bench to see Obertan, Amalfitano, Abeid and 2 Ameobi's looking back I'd probably have no idea where to start either Back to the players aren't good enough then are we? First team is good enough, squad never has been. We need great fortune to have any chance of a canny season. Here we are with Dummet and Williamson potentially our starting CBs for the Mackems with no cover on the bench. Really not sure how Tron can argue against that. Hell, Williamson wasn't even training before the Liverpool game. Saying that, barring any further knocks, Pardew seems pretty certain it'll be Taylor and Williamson pairing up on Sunday.

This seems particularly relevant considering it's one of the concerns with the current incumbent. At least you can point to some vague initiatives like the Foundation and the Fans Forum etc under Ashley. Looking over their dealings with supporter groups in the past, Red Bull seem to be the poster boys in unresponsive and faceless ownership.

Drop who? Hatem? Gouffran. Bring him on if Cisse looks poor again. Seems a touch unfair, but can see the argument for it. Might be academical anyway; I'd be staggered if the Gouff has enough time to get his breath back for the mackems the way he looked at the final whistle.

All credit to Kinnear then.

That suggests a fairly unsubtle world view.

I'm with you on this one, but I don't even think it's that light a touch. If you see the replay from behind Yanga jumps while holding onto Suarez' shoulder, and even changes his direction mid-air from the momentum. Blatant pelanty.

Tbh a lot of agro amongst our fans was caused by those who clapped him when he came over for the first corner and the others who rightly remember his horror tackle on Nobby. I can understand Spanish supporters clapping Iniesta who won them the world cup but in all fairness to Gerrard, he has done fuck all in comparison to that and imo didn’t deserve that reception. On the whole i thought our fans were brilliant, always going to be some people in the crowd who disagree with subs, that's understood. I thought Cabaye was looking very leggy and thought was the right call as he hadn't been as effective in that second half and we needed fresher legs in the middle of the park. Some fans voiced their opinions but it wasn’t anything over the top I didn’t think. All 3 subs were fine. Not sure Cabaye deserved the twat around the head Pards gave him though.

Edit: For Dummett, not sulky chops not celebrating.

Thought you had jacked us in? Properly this time.

Things should become a bit more interesting tomorrow. Thankfully not. Another positive bit of management today. Proud of the team.

Fuuuuuuuck.

Missed the boat to loan a lot of players out like. Teams have done their recruitment for the first half of the season now, ST loans excluded. Ay jaysus. I have no idea what you've said. But bet yer'll be right. Durunk as a fucker. How's yer boss. We'll fucking twat the scousers. Bring on Sat'day.

Which top championship club would want Haïdara for a few months? None. They have left backs that they are, a) comfortable with, hope to make money off. b) , well, what, a few months. Seriously?!?!? It is the same shit where people are questioning why none of our players are getting a decent loan and seemingly blaming the club. Those we do loan for longer are not the greatest examples. The great white hopes Brayson/Ferguson come to mind.

Bet it was pretty much this... http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll311/eulbricht/vomit.gif

You wouldn't be happy if we got Mourinho or Guardiola then? They'd have to prove themselves here before you accept them? http://blogs.vso.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Moving-the-goalposts-300x2402.jpg What? To be fair, it's quite obvious what he's asking. You're right, of course. Quite how he's got to that question from my post, I'm not sure. You're basically saying that the previous failings of a manager have no impact on how successful they'll be in the future? But I suppose you're in the belief that one day he might just work out how to be a good manager, despite proving time and time again that he hasn't got a clue. If Mourinho came in I'd be pretty confident that even with a couple of bad years with us, he's be able to turn it around, based on his previous success as a manager. Christ, are you really wanting to start this debate off again? Pardews previous jobs did not prove that time and time again that he hadn't got a clue. His record showed no small amount of success and a fair bit of promise punctured by a couple of collapses, one of which I'd only half lay at his door. He was certainly not a manager you could or should have written of entirely before his appointment here.

Certainly push boundaries. SV Austria Salzburg - After the takeover, Red Bull changed the club's name, management, and staff, declaring "this is a new club with no history." Red Bull initially claimed on the club website that the club was founded in 2005, but was ordered to remove this claim by the Austrian F.A. The new authority removed all trace of violet from the club logo and the team now play in the colours of red and white, to the consternation of much of the club's traditional support. There's no doubt they'd bring money and almost certain success to whichever English club they take over. Just depends how much you are willing to sacrifice to jump into bed with them.
