  1. Excellent. Rule out the only defender that would actually come to us right now. I think SA is still in for him, but the fee is putting him off and he's using the media to haggle it down. But he still does need Sol Campbell, i wish he'd just go for it instead of sitting around on his arse.
  2. Walking back after the game was unbelievable. Celtic fans barging through women and young kids, singing religous songs, actually saw and heard them shouting 'IRA rule ya bastards' to many in black and white tops trying to provoke a reaction. If it wasn't so sad it'd be funny - but heard a group of grown men shouting in the faces of two young lads and a girl -'We've won the European Cup - more than you're Alan Shearer's ever done'. If these guys were 30 years old or under they weren't even born when they won it. A moronic bigoted support. Be delighted if we never see them at St. James' ever again. Aye, bunch of scumbags. Hope we don't play them again. What about Rangers fans last time they were down, just as bad? Rangers fans are spot on from what I've seen, Celtic fans hate the english (not all but that's the general perception) where as rangers are proud do be british hence the flying of union jack flags at scotland games. haha they are as bad as each other. any other club in scotland hate them both. Told you this would happen before the match started. When they were last here told the forum about the trouble they caused in WB but every cunting arshole stuck up for the Celtic mugs. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/tyne/6918761.stm Fans arrested at friendly match Police made 15 arrests at a pre-season friendly between Newcastle United and Celtic at St James' Park on Thursday. Six thousand tickets had been made available to Celtic fans for the game, with an estimated 5,000 in attendance. Northumbria Police said most of the fans were good humoured. However, 15 people were arrested for drink-related and public order offences. Newcastle won the game 4-1, with goals from Obafemi Martins, James Milner, and two from Albert Luque.
  3. Lets not get carried away just yet! 1 swallow n all that, although encouraging to hear he got a couple. What was the performance like>
  4. Always do, they are pathetic. Come here thinking its a battle of Britain throwing themselves into challenges like they're extras in braveheart. So fuking glad they've lost, 4-1 as well, what a joke. But their fans are bad enough when they've won, no doubt there will be a few cocks looking for a scrap before they go home, but by their usual brave and heroic standard they'll trash a kebab shop and find a lad walking home by himself to jump on.
  5. Played up front. Had a properly numbered outfield shirt, the lot. Excellent! Did he enjoy it? Surly SSNs will show that! It was a perfect layoff by Harper that led to Milner scoring the fourth. mackems.gif Fuking Celtic mugs! Excellent, i cannot stand the horrible shits, Harper with an assist, hopefully they'll refuse tom come next time.

  7. Missed it all, did harper play outfield or am i misreading the comments or being whoosed? Also it was 3-0 last time i checked, who scored the other goals?
  8. Really fancy a trip to the bar tonight for the game but seriously cannot afford it. Suppose i could borrow, but its probably not worth it.
  9. Did they? £3.5m of Owen's transfer was owed money to us, so we paid £13.5m, and we got £10m back of the FA. ATM he sells for £9m at the least, i don't think its that bad compared to a total loss on someone like Luque.
  10. Does the townhouse have the match on tonight?

    The Striker Game.

14 out of 21 so far, but the others have moved to different clubs and i've lost them.
  12. Micah Richards is the perfect example of a young Englishman being well over hyped by the footballing world right now. Not saying Taylor isn't especially after his heroics for the U21's, but Richards is on a different level right now in terms of rep matching up ability, same happened with SWP's, not look at him, still a great player, but totally ruined. Glad Citeh were taken over, at least Richards stays and gradually fills his potential instead of being bought for £20m off Chelsea and sitting on the bench until his mid 20's before being sold at cut price.
  13. I disagree, out of the 3 promoted teams i'd back Sunderland to come highest. Birmingham have the best squad imo. Then Sunderland. Derby are abysmal. I would go along with that. Sunderland wont finish bottom thats for sure.
  14. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=252358 Embarassing arrogance. A lot of people on here, myself included go on and on about how arrogant and deluded newcastle fans are....Correct? From the goings on from some people on this message board recently is it fair to say that some on here share that deluded arrogance....? Invading Preston and Wigan message boards saying what a massive club we are what a massive history we have, what fantastic loyal supporters we have why we should be signing their top players and how dare they question the players views and decisions when they decide not to come to us is embarassing. We have won fuck all for 34 years and have been the Premier leagues Yo-yo club extrodinaire for the last 10 years. Why do some people think any player would not be jumping at the chance to play for Roy keane and Niall Quinn when to be honest our squad is shit and we must be one of the favourites for relegation regardless of what the deluded and arrogant say about the fucking Magic carpet and Roy simply won't allow it bollocks what the fuck has it got to do with him? if we go into the season with the squad the way it is now he won't have a fucking choice. If this does happen well fair enough we go down and get on with it and if we come back up will the same people still be on other peoples message boards telling the rest of the premier leagues teams that we are going to take all there best players because super massive Sunderland won the league a few years ago and the cup a couple of times. Embarassing. No better than mags some people on here. In fact worse than mags at least the mags are in a position to attract players and have been for quite a while now whereas we, unfortunately are not until we get ourselves established, so until then would people kindly fuck off. cheers. FUCK OFF (the above is a premptive fuck off for anyone who wishes to disagee) -------------------------------------- Nice one Travis Bickle. Some of the shite your lot have come out with on the Wigan forums is disgraceful. You'd think they were supporters of Liverpool or Barcelona fans they way they were banging on at them.
  15. Good summary. I'll tattoo it to Anal Olivers leather head if i ever see the cunt walking the street.
  16. I totally agree on the need someone to learn off, Sol Campbell & Davies should be coming in, that would be ideal. However the academy is not producing, that should signal that there is a lack of talent more than anything, players who have it are going to get close to the EPL with us. Steven Taylor shows what happens when it does, the fact Ramage has got further in his NUFC career than he should of and the debuts of Edgar & Huntington show that we do give our chances. Thats just the defenders. You can go back as far as Ameobi or even Harper to show you can make a good career at being at our club, and youngsters such as Pattison & O'Brien move on with some 1st team experience and a decent education while the more talented Lua Lua & Carroll will be given the time and effort into making them as good as possible.
  17. Curtis has two years premiership experience while the baggies where in the league. One
  18. ----------------Given/Krul---------------- ??---Davies---Taylor---Baines Does me for the next 10 years.
  19. No but he's been injured for a couple of months and WBA were talking £10m which has put people off. Who needs a CB for that much apart from us?
  20. He has a fully season's worth of it iirc. 2 seasons iirc. One. 04/05 he plyed for Luton, then in WBA second season they paid £3m for him, and went down.
  21. He played for a year in the EPL and was class.
