  1. If he's on more than £40kpw then i pray to god he doesn't come here. Scandalous wage for such a shite footballer.
  2. The whole thing, and we got a free stadium expansion out of it. Maybe Ashley wants the expansion but wants it to pay for it himself.
  3. An expansion is vital if he wants to make more money. We sell out for shite and no glory, if we ever become successful then he needs to look at getting more bums on seats. Disappointed in this news, i think the expansion is just as important to us as the takeover.
  4. I think Deco would struggle in the league, seriously isn't physically or mentally built for this league. If he was 21 and HAD to adapt and grow up here then i think he'd crack it, but at his age, he'd not be willing to adapt and change his game to suit the style of play we have over here. I too also think he's over rated, but that has no bearing on the above.

Is this believable? who are these skunkers? they are a mystical race of ITK's who live in a bunker below the river tyne. blueyes.gif
  6. I'm not cracking a joke about his dead family, i'm making a valid point about his commitment to the club, or lack of. I'm not making this up, you can check back for his stats last season, fuks off when things were getting tough middle of November, then makes a miraculous recovery the day after his brother dies, plays to his best, then fuks off again (possibly started the next game in europe) and doesn't make another appearance when the shit hits the fan again. He picks and chooses his games while picking up in a week what we'll be lucky to make in a year, yet only the death of a family member motivates him enough to make it to the pitch to earn that money. I wouldn't piss on the cunt if he was on fire, in fact i'd probably throw on a log or two, the guy is a parasite, vermin, a total fukhead who's took the living piss out of this club since he's arrived. He does not deserve sympathy, understanding or restraint towards him. I'm sorry for the loss of his brother, but in the end of the day, prove to me why else he made that rare appearance fully fit, ready and motivated, then fuked off again after his families honour was upheld? Don't want an argument about it? Then don't comment on him tbh.

    That c*** Oliver

My thoughts as well. But i think wor graemeh held back a little, i dont think he let rip with his full potential.
  8. Never! I remember the bit they did with his name on a strip in the back of a limo. ---------------------- I still think it was a fly out to speak to Eidur, only to tell him he's our no1 target if either of our strikers leave. Maybe something happened today (martins willing to re-sign or Berbatov to Manu) that put that on a back burner,
  9. That's a bit sick tbh. have to agree with nut here toon that is a pretty disgusting thing to say and i don't really want to come on here and read comments like that Get over it tbh. He's played once since November, the day after his brother died. I stand by my comments. Not my fault if anybody is too stupid to realise the cunt has taken us for a ride.
  10. So who is going to pay him until then? Hope its not us. He's not a good defender, very poor in fact, we can do better, even before SA & Ashley. I thouhgt he was a holding midfielder? Didn't think he'd ever played in defence, wasn't that Marquez and Puyol? Holding mf good long pass. Converted mid as he's that poor at defending, his natural position is a CB. That's where he played back in Brazil & for Lyon, that where he's played most of his games for Brazil NT and that's what he was bought by Barca for in the 1st place.
  11. So who is going to pay him until then? Hope its not us. He's not a good defender, very poor in fact, we can do better, even before SA & Ashley.
  12. mackems.gif What's he going to do, go to the emerald city and ask for a heart? I don't think he's got enough family members to go through for him to see out the season.
  13. Babayaro: I'll win Big Sam over http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=474334&CPID=8&clid=4&lid=&title=BABAYARO:+I Celestine Babayaro does not fear for his place at Newcastle United despite the arrival of a new manager in Sam Allardyce. The former Bolton boss is looking to encourage a new culture within the Magpies squad and has already brought in Joey Barton and Mark Viduka, with Czech defender David Rozehnal set to follow. Further changes could well be afoot following Mike Ashley's success in buying 93.19 per cent of the club, and The Magpies' porous defence remains a priority case. Newcastle have been linked with Wigan left-back Leighton Baines, but Babayaro is confident he will hold onto his first-team place despite the upheaval this summer. "At Chelsea, I went through four managers who came with new players and I still held on to my position," Babayaro told the Northern Echo. "So I don't see why I should worry about the coming of a new manager to Newcastle or the coming of new players. "I know what I'm capable of doing and the coach has not told me that I'm surplus to requirements so I have no fears of losing out at Newcastle. "If injury doesn't come my way in the new season, the Premier League will see a new Celestine Babayaro."
  14. Thing is I think we are vulnerable to a late bid as I think several clubs (Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool plus foreign clubs) have earmarked both players as backup in case they miss their targets. A lot of the speculation at the moment could well be an attempt to sell papers, as journalists put two and two together. Arsenal lose Henry and they're instantly linked with Tevez and Martins. My gut feeling is we'll lose one and keep the other. This is a very good point, especially since neither will be euro tied, adding more to their worth to bigger clubs.
  15. I believe it won't be that difficult to resign Martins. I'm not sure he's a big Arsenal fan, always looks like he wants to hurt them too much for him to want to move there. Its his only option coming to light right now, and i think there are plenty of reasons why he could possibly stay here, write out his clause, and commit himself to a club going places, whereas Arsenal in just about every single department are totally up in the air. Manger, board, finance & players, all uncertain, is this what he's going to move for? I'd be disappointed if he chose that mess than actually seeing some good times here after toughing it through our big fuking mess.
  16. I think it is possible as long as we accept their valuation of the player? I would have thought anyway. No. Think about it. Its a clause to say money is offered. They could offer us £9m worth of plastic bottles otherwise and we'd have to accept. Us 'accepting' their valuation isn't meeting a clause to be triggered, thats us agreeing to sell. I know its late but....
  17. Owen & Martins. If both of them leave i hope to god we don't buy Smith. Eidur i'd take, then i'd probably go for Bellamy just for his pace. (Bellamy (Pace) Eidur (Brains) Viduka (Presence) & Shola (Geordie)
  18. How can Manu trigger a £9m clause with a player exchange? Fuk me the S*n are total fuking clueless wankers aren't they?

Bad idea. Heinze meanz Baines would be on the bench. (Sorry, couldn't resist) mackems.gif
  20. Aye, if they had any credibility they'd be kicking themselves that FS & SA have just got on a plane to Barcelona putting to bed that shit rumour they just made up at the office before going to print.
  21. What i said but a lot more eloquently.
  22. Manu want Owen (again) according to the SSN back pages. £4m + Smith. Don't know if there are enough ways to tell them to fuk off about that one tbh.
