  1. We should just ban them from entering the City for the home game.

    Stadium Expansion

It would only take one or two decent seasons and we'd fill up 60k no problem. Considering how much tickets cost, and the level of football produced over the past few seasons, them were doing well to keep over 50k bar one or two times in the league. A successful team, just in terms of winning games would have no problem filling the expansion, a one winning silverware and we'd have to look at even further expansion. But that's a while away if we ever get there, but finally we all feel its a possibility waiting for us just around the corner.
  3. Certainly, how on earth FS slept at night i do not know. He must be glad as a fan to have sold when he did. If you want to look at a club servicing massive debt look no further than ManU. £20m a year on interest alone last i heard. But Manu can just about afford to live like that. I don't think it will be long until ownership changes hands again, 3-4 years max.

  5. How can the club owe him money? He owns the club outright. doesn't matter,a private individual gave money to a business.he is running it as a business therefore he will want the money back at some point. He'll want a return on his investment I should think but the club doesn't 'owe' him money. He owns the club so it's really a case of him no longer owing the banks the money the club was in debt. I'm not just being pedantic, there's a big difference. The scenario you give could happen if, for example, someone on the board loaned the club money when it was a PLC. In this case the club doesn't owe anyone anything (more or less) any more. My take on it is that he bought the club with the debt, now the club is free of debt its worth £75m more (or however much he's paid off) pushing the clubs worth over the £200m mark. I agree, the club don't owe him money, its like saying Chelsea owe Roman money, if so they are well and truly fuked. It depends whether he put the money in as share capital or not. If he did then the club doesn't owe him the money. If he didn't put it in as share capital then it will be in there as a loan from the owner and if anyone buys the club then that money forms part of the debts. Plenty of businesses are financed by loans from the person or persons who own them. He could of possibly done that, if he wasn't too committed to the club. However from the vibes you get from his camp, you get the feeling he's loving this, and wants to be here for a long time. I just think him investing more money shows his commitment, but also would ward off potential buyers as the clubs value has just rocketed because of his two cash investments.

    Stadium Expansion

I think Ashley should build the whole lot himself, obviously if we were going to get a free stadium expansion out of it, then the whole complex must be worth a shit load.
  9. Faye looked very fuking excited to be at SJP. Banging on the seats, digs into the guy next to him, jumping up and down, massive smile on his face, you'd of thought he'd just won the lottery.
  10. Fucking hell If we're getting victimised for throwing 'v's, then you better fucking burn me, I actually swore at the game! I saw that
  11. If Taylor had played from the start he wouldn't of looked so handy, and probably wouldn't of scored either. But yes, Ashton over Heskey and day of the week.

    Today's Games

If it wasn't for the Ref Manu would never have won that game. Shocking decisions, wants stripping of his position in the game.

Defoe is f****** class..or so they say Never understood why Defoe isn't an automatic starter there. Refused to sign a new contract, Told that he'll rot in the reserves by Jol. Its also because he's not actually that good. Just living off the hype he got as a teenager. I'd hesitate to make the comparison, but it reminds me of a certain Ipswich lad we've just sold to West Ham Actually i rate him highly, he got a 25 mins in Spuds last game and managed to score two, can't be worse than Bent surley. Worse then Bent? who's managed 2 goals in 1 start and about 4 cameo appearances. How can you expect him to do any more when Jol isnt starting him. The sad thing about it is, keane's goal today probably guarantees him the next 7 starts whilst Bent stays on the bench and defoe dosent even make the squad. GET JOL OUT mackems.gif

Biased ref, yet again at OT>
  16. Really? Carbon copy of the big man, looked about 15-19, another lad next to him turned round to Ashley and ashley shook his hand rather energetically, so my guess is they know each other. I didn't spot it but me manu mate watching it did, i rewound it back and he really does look like him.
  17. Who was that below Mike Ashley? Was it his son? Certainly looked like him, gave the Wham fans the middle finger with both hands after the match finished.
  18. Amazing performance, well impressed. Thought we were overall pretty lucky though.
