Which part? The fee has been agreed, the contract has not Ah. Still think Henry will take the option to leave, especially since the club has accepted the fee. One last chance to do something in his career. (not that he hasn't just i cant see much else going on at Arsenal until the stadium pays itself off)

That's it, Owen could be jumping from one mess into another. I'd welcome him leaving, the £9m fee stings though. I highly doubt Martins will go there, the times ive seen him play against them he really looked like he didn't like Arsenal.
-
Did he publicly commit? IIRC he skirted around the issue and was just pissed off they were saying he'd agreed a deal to leave.
-
It was their last real chance to get a good fee for him, just like Veiria's sale to Inter. Wenger will either be happy with the money, or totally fuked off and this has been done without his blessing. Either way our two front men will be heavily linked in the morning.

SSN's just said it was official, the fee has been agreed.

£9m Owen. Cuntish situation. Martins £13m Bastard situation.
-
Bye bye Wenger.
-
Didn't Jorge Campos design that himself?
-
If Fergie is willing to let Smith go for £3.5m, it means he's finished. I personally wouldn't take him, not after the injury, something is wrong there, and again like someone commented, Keane would of been sniffing at such a 'bargain' if he felt it was one.

We should pull out, just for the laughs.

If he was our second choice RB though, then it would be a good move. Carr sold/released/part of the Young deal, Solano as backup to the right wing, and Taylor placed firmly in the centre, where he needs to be, it would be criminal to move him there and should be avoided at all costs. Plus another RB, Sagna or another £5m+ player. Same goes for the LB position, we need that at a minimum next season if we are to be taken seriously. (That's not to mention another 2/3 CB's) 2nd choice? how many players do you think he's going to sign, he already needs i'd say 3 center halfs not to mention a left back and that's not even discussing midfield and forward players. At least another 6 defenders. I'd imaging he's look for two players in every position, i'd hope he doesn't count Solano as a RB but as a winger & Carr & babayaro only remain until we find alternatives.

Duff is even more of a waste of money than Luque tbh... No he's not, put aside how bad his debut season was, at least its a season of some description. Duff still holds value, at least he's playable and not a liability. If Duff wasn't injured and we put him up for sale tomorrow, i'd say we'd even make money off him. What value ? I think Luque will hold similar value to Duff but in Spain which is obviously close to 90% depreciation... Luque doesn't even hold value in Spain. (Not sure what you mean on 90% depreciation?) Nobody will even loan him and pay his full £40k wages. Someone, notably WHU, Spurs and possibly Liverpool would give us our money, and maybe more for Duff.

Actually Luque got more goals/assists than Duff in less games.. EPL?

Maybe like the rest of us he sees this huge waste of money and he hopes the guy can fill in until Duff returns and would possible angle a move out of the club after that.

wierd eh? wonder what the hells going on? even under fat fred we'd not have batted an eyelid at paying 3m for a CB would we? raises questions like: is allardyce the one setting the limits internally for the fee? is he operating on a severly limited budget with no idea of what will come from ashley? (doubtful) is the 100% takeover and subsequent removal from LSE hampering money being spent? (possible) are PSG trying to fleece us and for once we're not writing the cheque? these are just a few but i'd go for a combination of 1 & 4 personally haven't got a scooby about this lad so i'm not a transfer panic merchant but it seems to me if we REALLY wanted him then he'd have been on a plane by now.... Interesting points. My gut feeling is SA sees the guy as a rotation player only, therefore wont pay a huge amount for him, and wont pay big wages to uproot him and his family. Its probably why he's come out and said he's happy to stay, i bet the offer at all levels isn't that great from us, which leads me to believe the player himself isn't anything special.

Why Celtic again? Have we no one else's telephone number?
-
You need a goalscorer and to show your intentions, we just need not to be ripped off by a CL club taking him, so you'd have to pay proper money. The deal works for everyone imo.
-
23 fuking days and we've still not even agreed a fee. 'Frustrating' doesn't quite cut the mustard.

Sam takes on his biggest challenge yet.

King is an impressive defender, physically spot on for his position. But King wasn't as good as Taylor at Taylor's age, and with King's constant injuries, i know which one i'd want right now, and the one i'd want in the future. Taylor.

I actually think the guy came across very well in his interview with SSN's. If i were a Citeh fan i don't think i'd be too worried about him, although the SGE link shows he's not really a football man, but i think Sven could do a decent job and bring Citeh up to spec in the EPL with a decent amount of money. My opinion of him certainly has changed slightly.
