  1. Lets hope SA can work Luque back to Spain, even if its on a loan deal. Hopefully were fly by Depo and pick up Andrade & Colocini as both are going for peanuts.
  2. Probably. Also it means Anal isn't getting spoon fed info anymore, his journalistic qualities and abilities will now be brought into action. Should be a laugh if nowt else! mackems.gif
  3. So Edmilson is fuked? Thank christ for that. Already been said but it looks like Martins is out the door, or unless SA has decided Ameobi is to be pushed out of NUFC.
  4. I've never rated him. Very weak defender, light weight, rash and stupid, but very good at going forward, maybe why people are tempted to play him in midfield. Good in the air and defending/attacking set pieces, but he'll let us down again and again with the pace of the EPL. Anyone remember the goal he scored for Brazil? Classic.
  5. As good a news as am gonna here all week.
  6. I take it you don't have a clue what you're talking about? Touch a nerve? Sorry, just got back from the Chapel of rest where I saw my Grandad for the last time. Sorry to hear man, best wishes to you and your family.

  8. 249 (124.500 per day) I take it you are back and regretting deleting your account?
  9. The club will only move forward and leave its dark days behind when Carr & Babayaro are removed from the squad. Its just as important to get rid of these two fukers as it is anyone else. They've both been responisble for so many bad moments in the last 2 seasons, both want shot for their efforts at this club.
  10. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=42026.0 About five threads down. I still couldn't see it after being linked to it.
  11. Allardyce’s comments came as the Magpies announced a multi-million pound four-year drinks sponsorship deal with Carling this morning. Whats this like?
  12. Ashley wants FS to stay on for what reason again? I can't even be bothered to get mad at the fat cunt anymore, he'll get whats coming to him, fat tosser.
  13. It's a laugh looking back tbh. or a shitter when you realise you got the lot right and missed out a trillion zillion gazillion to one bet that came up I always think that when am doing it, am going to look back and think shit, you should of put that on at the bookies. Fact is, i'll get nowhere near and it will just make me look stupid when its pulled back up.

  15. Just don't think we're going to spend £50m on top of sales mate. I could be wrong. Seems like anybody who questions the budget or the way it's spent is accused of wanting trophy signings immediately. Makes it easier to put down people's suggestions I suppose. What will be will be, lets not put a typical Newcastle downer on the figure/situation, lets just enjoy the momentum of whats happened, and what could possibly happen, not ask too many questions until the end of August, and see where that gets us. Boring i know, but it allows everyone to smile and dream. I think we could easily top £60m total outlay, after sales, its what this club needs. We need more than a solid 1st 11, we need another 8-9 versitile players who can fill in when injuries kicks in. You are only as strong as your weakest player, i'm a firm believer of that, its why we ended up with our lowest points total last season.
  16. We need a squad, or has last seasons injuries and players released this summer escaped you in your summing up of the transfer kitty?
  17. For free? Aye, i'll take that. Shame we didn'nt bag Ben Haim & Sidwell as well this summer, but you cant win them all.
  18. I reckon he has. He's scouted at all levels, he'd be stupid no to anticipate a cash boost with a new oner who's the 25th richest man in the UK. He's not Souness/Rodent you know! I'm not so sure, he came here without any knowledge of Ashley's takeover (so we're lead to believe) so he would have had a rough idea of who he wanted to bring in with the small budget he'd of had this season off Shepherd, Ashley may now have given him £50 million to spend but he'll be now looking at players he wouldn't have been able to afford either here or at Bolton. How would he have scouted potential players in the off season? He could have cought the last few games of La Liga but that would have been it. Na. Think about how long he was in a job here for before the takeover started, then how long until the rumours of cash a injection came about? I'd doubt very much he was back for very long off his holidays, he might of still even been on them when the this all kicked off. He's obviously scouted the French league a lot, and all kinds of level of talent are in there. He'll know his own league inside out, and am sure he has a knowledge database of all types of players going back years from his time at Bolton. Anelka was a big fish, i bet he's got plenty of players of the calibre scouted from his Bolton days, and with constant rumours of our front two going, i'd imaging he'll have an extensive list of strikers ready to go in case we lose them.

  20. Although were all kegging ourselves with excitement, i think SA will be sticking to what his initial plan was, to bring in good players to build a squad, and then try and bring int some top quality with whatever he was given extra with the arrival of Ashley. Rozy is a squad player, i hope Ashley is now looking to bring in a top named CB so Rozy & Taylor can fight for the honour to play alongside him. With that level of money we now need to free transfer Carr & Babayaro, and bring in 4 new fullbacks. Do that and buy Tevez (or one creative players we can build around), it won't be long until we hit the good times with a squad built like that. Am exited, its everything you want to read, and i know so many teams have £50m to spend, but Chelsea & Manu are done spending imo. WHU & Citeh won't be able to compete with us, we were ahead of the game before the takeovers started and currently still are. WHU are seen as a laughing stock, Citeh are still up in the air. Villa are not making massive strides but sensible ones & the likes of Liverpool & Arsenal are looking at different kinds of players to us, we need to get our squad to their level, then look at the additions they are wanting to make next year is possible. No European football holds us back, i'd rather do it sensibly than go head 1st taking hits in the transfer and wage department to have players only here for the cash. We've done that, WHU are doing it now, its gets you nowhere fast.
  21. They've just signed Ribery too - you know that right? They took a lot money from their bank account to heavily invest this summer. Toni, Italian international, 11m Euro Ribery, French international, 25m Euro Jansen, German international, 12m Euro Klose, German international, 12m Euro Schlaudraff, German international 1.2m Euro (buy out clause) Ernesto Sosa, Argentine, 6m Euro Hamit Altintop, Turkish international, free Ze Roberto, ex-Brazilian international, free Shouldn't of horded their coins for so long, but a very much needed time to spend, and haven't they just. They'll win the league next season, and probably be favs in the UEFA cup with that squad. Surprised they haven't bought Emre for £8m though.
