Part of the problem is that black players who want to become managers have seen the barriers, and consequently don't even bother doing the courses. So, you'll probably find that they are under represented there. Its called hard work and taking a chance, huge barrier everyone faces, the race card is an easy way out as they simply cant be arsed. Are you saying that black people are lazy? Anyone who uses that excuse is lazy.

No, just responding to you in the same manner you responded to him. Dear me - offend, did it ? Tut tut. The self-deceiving bullshit never ends from you it seems..... Not trying to force it on anyone ? You serious ? Has anyone proposed a law which says that 10% of all managers must be black? Crooks is merely raising a relevant issue. Not yet.

The thing is though, if 2% of football managers in the uk are black then that fits in with the fact that 2% of the UK population is black according to the last census blowing his moan out of the water. http://www.statistics.gov.uk/cci/nugget.asp?id=273 Statistics are good, but should be used with caution. The number of black people relative to white people in the UK is irrelevant in this context. It is the number of black people relative to white people in football which is important since this is the population from which managers are hired. Was there as many black players in football 20 years ago than there are now? Would this not have an effect on how many would become a potential manager or are you just making utter bullshit up as you go along?

http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=450208 Charlton and West Ham are heading towards the last-chance saloon and the two struggling sides lock horns at The Valley on Saturday. It is sure to be a strange feeling for the two managers, as West Ham chief Alan Curbishley made his name at Charlton, while Addicks boss Alan Pardew was in charge of The Hammers earlier this season. Only goal difference separates the pair, but they are both six points adrift of the safety zone and a win will be seen as imperative. Past form is likely to go out of the window in such circumstances, but The Addicks do hold a psychological advantage as West Ham have managed only one league victory at The Valley in 15 visits. Pardew has been handed a boost on the defensive front, as Luke Young is set to shake off injury to feature and Talal El Karkouri is available again after his one-game ban. El Karkouri's return could offset the loss of Madjid Bougherra who is a serious doubt after picking up an injury against Manchester United. Charlton are set to be without their creative force once again as Andy Reid is still struggling with injury, but Jerome Thomas is in contention following a hamstring complaint. Pardew seems set to throw Darren Bent into the heat of battle, despite there being doubts over his well-being, and he could well partner his namesake Marcus in attack. The Hammers were big players in the January transfer window, but two of their recruits are in the treatment room and Lucas Neill and Matthew Upson are not expected to figure. James Collins and Lee Bowyer are both back in full training and could be involved at the weekend, but Danny Gabbidon and Dean Ashton remain sidelined and Nigel Reo-Coker is suspended. Skysports.com Prediction: 1-1 A tight but intriguing contest to end all square. Player to watch: Darren Bent

Or the big game of the weekend. Sod the Carling Cup, neither team are that arsed about winning it anyway, the real drama will no doubt be at this must win battle at the bottom of the league for Premiership survival between the two London clubs with massive recent history between them. Quick recap for those who don't know, forgot, or are overseas fans wondering WTF is going on. Curbs left in the summer after a lifetime in charge of Charlton, he was replaced with Ian Dowie, who spent a fortune on utter shite. West Ham, recently promoted last year and a club well respected for bringing through some of England's hottest talents were supposed to push on from last seasons great form. That didn't happen, a dodgy deal including two Argentian superstars was questionable and disruptive, and takeover talk overshadowed the managers position, and he blamed such talk on disrupting the team. The new owner didn't like that blame lying at his door, and Pardew was on borrowed time. Results were below standard, he was sacked. While this was going on Charlton were playing even worse than West Ham, Dowie was sacked after 12 games, and replaced with Les Reed, who was even worse, both teams were struggling at the bottom of the EPL. Shortly after this time Pardew became Charlton manager, and Curbishley West Ham manager, the difference, between the two Alan's? The one at West Ham had money to spend in the window, and he did. Buying some proven EPL players for decent transfer fee's but the sting was hidden in the wages, Boa Morte, Upson and most notably Lucas Neill are all on wages that could sink a normal club if they get relegated due to their talents not matching their earnings and nobody wanting to pay them afterwards. They have taken a gamble, and they really need these players to perform and pay off. Neill & Upson both picked up injuries in their debuts, well when your at the bottom, luck is something you do not get. Curbs has recently said the pressure is on him, and he must gets results, but with the EPL clock ticking away, there might not be enough games left to get it right, which is why a kick start against his old club is imperative. But bitter Pardew stands in their way, and he wont be taking this one lying down. Expect a heated, confrontational, dogged scrap of a game. High drama, fast paced ruckus, and a result as important as any trophy up for grabs this weekend. So i ask the question in the poll: Who do you want to win? The answer for me is easy, Charlton. We humans like to see a big fall, West Ham with their new financial backer are just too much of a bonus for me to see them go down. But, the result itself could be immaterial as the FA are looking into West Ham's two Argentinian players, as its been reported they were ineligible to play, and if so, WHU could be docked up to 10pts which would certainly seal their fate.

Wasn't a classic my any means, but a job done. Glad we didn't put in a massive performance, keeps us focused for next game and certainly stops us getting cocky or complacent. Hoping we get the job done again against Wigan, i'll take that performance and the result quite happily.

We need two new fullbacks to help support each side of the wings, Duff/Zoggy & Milner/Solano are good enough players, but the support behind them are shite, so moves are one dimensional and predictable. We do that the centre opens up for more creative movement as the opposition players will be drawn to the extra bodies down the flanks, leaving a Dyer like player to rip through the middle on the end of a decent pass across the box to slot home nicely, or even take the ball on a dribble himself. A good target man wouldn't go a miss. At the moment we have Martins who's a dwarf to aim at, and Sibi doesn't count as he doesn't get into the penalty area until two days after the full time whistle. One other thing to note is the 'creative force' or that supposed force has barely had two minutes together so attacks are disjointed, un-natural and disorganised. Were sorting out the back at the moment, and for me there's no better place to start, then we can concentrate on the mid creating for the attack, especially when we get our top players back together.
-
Oh, I've never been. It's rubbish. Next! Anyone been to Portaventura? Looks class.
-
1)but given wouldn't fetch martins transfer fee and will be on nowhere near the wages. 2)drawing game, forward misses chance, should be winning 3) motd of old always had a fair share of team goals and spectacular solos for gotm/y...no more Given would fetch £10m, what we paid for Martins, and i've got a funny feeling wor Shay is on more money than Martins. Manu spend nearly £30m on replacing the Great Dane, probably more now, and Buffon himself went for something like that in one move. Keepers are rated highly, some like Paul Robinson too highly.

What worries me about Duff is that he's had one too many leg injuries and they are taken its toll on his game. What worries me more is Mourinho selling him for near peanuts, backing my concern that Duff is actually burnt out or injured beyond repair. He's certainly left his pace at Chelsea.
-
So, him or Fat Freddy? Tough choice.

Apart from the slurred words and drastic shakes. Well he at least had a tan. Unless he;s playing a recovering alcoholic with a speech impediment then this film is going to be another reason everyone can laugh at Gazza. If he is playing a recovering alcoholic with a speech impediment, then he could possibly be up for an Oscar next year. He wasn't like that at all. There was no slur in his talking. Yes he was. (am not saying he was drunk, in fact from the shakes i guess he wasn't, you just couldn't understand him, which is going to be a problem for none Geordies who want to watch this film, certainly Americans) Shaking to fuk as well.

i think milner has probably been our best player overall this season but i can actually see his point and think its far from dog shit! he is inconsistent with his crossing and isnt sure sometimes whether to cross or take a man on! his biggest asset by far is his workrate. i do however think that at his age he is an excellent prospect and has plenty of time to gain experience. So he's 21 and learning his game, no need for another thread pulling him down tbh.
-
Kneejerk because of a frustrating game where the majority didnt perform! If you want to know about Milner have a look at his assist rate over the last 2 seasons, may not be pretty (football and looks ) but he gets enough quality to players to make a difference. Lots of positives out of a dull game for me. Milner looked lively. Duff got into his stride by the end. We won. Clean sheet. No injuries. Carroll got a run out. Bramble showed he's up to earn his contract and was by far our best defender.
-
He has played 35 games already this season I think at the end of the season its going to be 50 games for him I thought that he deserved a rest tonight Type of player that wants to play though, and has a high level of general fitness. A rest wouldn't harm though, tonight would of been a good time.
-
Had one of his better games tonight, especially as the game went on. Looked slighter and faster, more sharp and quicker on the turn. His confidence grew as the game went on, if he keeps the performance in the last 20mins up for the rest of the season i'll be delighted.
-
Milner has been one of our better players this season. I'm surprised threads like this are still knocking about. But football is all about opinions, even total dogshit ones.
-
Hahaha! The Turks must be livid. Excellent
-
Because Turkey is a horrible shit hole. Fener fans = bunch of horrible bastards Don't hold back

I think the 60pts mark is achievable with the games left. We've one of the easiest run in about, we need to take advantage.

Naa, just tar every fuker with the same brush mood. But to be fair, name me a French footballer without an attitude problem? Henry? Veira? Zidane? Ginola? Robert? Dumas? Pires? First time Franck Dumas has been mentioned in the same breath as those other players im guessing. Probably the last

French, what did you expect? Someone modest?

Spot on, mystery solved. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=32114.0 In Players Bar last night, who should I bump into, but the Zog. He was getting the usual handshakes and that so thought I'd put my French to use. He looked a bit shocked at a 6 foot 6 lanky string of piss coming upto him talking his lingo saying "Ca va?" Didn't really know what to say so just said "well played this afternoon" and he said "thanks". Then I said, "you're better than Duff" and he simply said "I know". (all in French) Laughing Also shook Stevie Taylor's hand outside the Gate waiting for a taxi.
