You think Milner is worth less than what we bought him for? Yet AV wanted him for the price we paid last season before he had his best professional season so far, not to mention the added money in the EPL? Clouded judgment by terrace hatred. Villa offered us the money BEFORE the add ons. The total sum is reputed to be £5m. Personally I wouldnt pay that for him and nor would Villa last season. I cant be arsed to hate anyone really. Apart from Thatcher. Like I say, we could get our money back but I would prefer he stayed as a squad player. If we move him left then he will get found out just as quickly by the way. He lacks the pace as a support striker. His best bet is moving into the centre of midfield.

Now in terms of ability i don't think the price has really changed much, he's still a £9m player (due to inflation of player prices) but no one is willing to pay it, unless WHU put in a bid. But yes mate, selling Dyer for £5m+ would be ideal, SWPs as his replacement would go down well with me. citeh sold him for 21mlns because chelsea have got/used to have a lot of cash for transfers. but honestly, i think that now he's not worth these 10mlns. max 5-6 or eventually 7mlns. I do like Milner because he always gives 100% however if he really wants to progress here he needs to move into the middle or out on the left, that way his ability at shooting from distance (which is very good) can be used a lot more. MIDDLE! Honestly not many people have the vision of actually seeing the boy in his NATURAL position, this is where the lad will shine in a few years. Beardsley needs to get to work on him, he'd make an excellent support striker.

He's got a big neck and is 6ft3". I dunno. i don't wanna excite too early, because i done that when boumsong arrived and we all know what happend next few months Same here, I'm very suspect about him, i know nowt about him and the French league fills me with no confidence, our previous French players and most certainly French defenders (i know he's not French but that's not the point am trying to make) fills me with no confidence, his patchy NT career & the fact the PSG fans don't even know if he's better in defense or mid again raises issues. We can only hope were picking up a bargain, i've just a feeling he's not better than the average EPL player, but at £3m, that isn't really bad business especially if he's not 1st choice.

So because two other club with two different managers buy two different players that are totally s**** we should expect crap players for £6m as well? Surely £6m is a club record for a fullback, it should be a special purchase. I remember seeing sagna in youtube for the Best 11 players in the french league. Let's really hope arsenal doesn't come in and steal this one away too. They are self destructing themselves with henry leaving. Would love to cast an eye on him, but Arsenal being interested and at £6m tells me that he does have a talent, £6m though is a lot of money. Good RB's though are worth their weight in gold, same as LB's but there seems to be one or two English options ATM available for the LB position.
