We wouldn't get any compensation, so its not good news for us. Bramble will probably get paid a fuking nice tidy sum, at least ten years wages, so i wouldn't feel to sorry for him if true. But, would like to see him sign a contract unless we replace him this window, which i doubt we will.
-
Wouldn't of happened if we had made a proper plan and signed some defenders Seriously though, we now need bodies even more quickly, we've now another game to play, just exactly what we didn't need.
-
Fuk me, canny goal. Although he was given way too much space

They would be crazy to reject £17m for him. That's what most people in Germany (including the majority of Bayernfans) say as well. But Bayern don't particularly need the money (they have more than 100m Euro in their bank accounts). The reason why they rule out any transfers is rather symbolic IMHO. They want to show that they are not European lightweights who can be messed around with by other big clubs or their own players. Their director of football (Hoeneß) only recently said that they want to show that you have to honour your contract with Bayern if you just had agreed an extension. Fair enough, its a pride thing, but keeping a unhappy half injured player while being offered probably 75% more than whats he's worth fit and focused would be crazy in anyones eyes, even Chelsea. I think they will sell, maybe Bayern need to soften the blow with Emre, or someone bigger coming in, then they can take victory on financial and the footballing side of things. I do agree (I've only slightly corrected the price for you...), but I am not sure if Bayern will really sell, especially not in the winter with the big games against Real Madrid looming. The WC certainly does that to players. Who have they been playing instead of him, and have they been doing a good job? It really only effect NUFC if Bayern really want Emre, at £7-8m i hope they do, we could do with the money, and its always nice to actually make a profit on a player for once. There has been nothing in Germany suggesting that Bayern are in fact interested in Emre that I am aware of tbh. So it looks a bit like another fabricated tabloid rumour to me. Bayern have a couple of players who can play as defensive midfielders. They mostly used Ottl, a young player from their own academy who was doing quite well for them. But they also have Demichelis or van Bommel who can play a similar role. Shame, would of liked a big money move for Emre. Didn't realise they had MVB, thought he was still at Barca!

I watched this yesterday and i was speechless... And he is only 17 Do you think Babayaro or Carr can do that with a ball  I reckon Babayaro could give him a good run for his money, but you'd probably have to pay him £30,000 to get his arse off the grass to have a go. Carr would John Smith 'Avvv it!'

Aaron Hughes just burst onto the scene, was a decent footballer, fitted in anywhere, although he was never going to be a world beater, i always thought he'd be here for years doing a job and doing it well. But he never got any better. From that moment he burst onto the scene, he was practically the same footballer as the one that left. Now it sounds like he's just got worse. Shame, canny lad, and always thought we were stupid to sell him, but maybe not so now.

If Chelsea offered £10m, Charlton would snap there hands off. Injured for 5 weeks, verge of relegation, manager who needs funds. Deal would be done within a couple of days as Charlton can maybe spend wisely and get some decent players in before the window closes. If Charlton recieve that money, and put it towards the £6m they've apparently got this window, Pardew could possibly rescue the club, just maybe.

What intelligent questions are they? UV never asked a question, just picked holes in my brief explanation, none of which was worth replying too. As for you, got no idea what you were on about tbh, i find it hard to read your posts for some reason, especially when you ask a question.

He's going to have a hard job improving as he's at such a high standard, but am sure good coaches will find things. Certainly mentally he's not finished. Is too inconsistant, something Ronaldo has sorted out since coming back from the WC in great style.

Wasn't Tiago sold to Lyon as Essiens replacement, a day after, as in part of the deal (not quite, but a gentleman's agreement) or am i thinking of someone else?

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,27-2533433,00.html Roeder sees the funny side of his injury woes George Caulkin Contemplating the vast emptiness of Newcastle United’s dressing-room, Glenn Roeder could not resist a chuckle when he heard fellow managers complaining about injuries. This week, Roeder conducted a training session comprising only four senior players, yet, unlike some of his peers, he has refrained from making easy excuses. While he declined to pinpoint individuals, Roeder’s comments clearly referred to José Mourinho and Harry Redknapp. He has endured a prickly relationship with the latter since succeeding him at West Ham United. There was wry humour in Roeder’s voice yesterday when he compared his meagre resources with those at other clubs; absenteeism for today’s FA Cup third-round tie away to Birmingham City is in double figures. “I’m starting to have a giggle to myself at managers — and some very high-profile ones — who are complaining at having three or four players out,” he said. “They ought to try it up here for a week. We are having to stagger the times injured players come in for treatment because it is impossible to treat them all at 9.30am.” Was he referring specifically to Mourinho? “I said ‘managers’,” Roeder replied. “There’s another one even farther south who has a saying about ‘bare bones’ and that would mean his last 18 players.” ------------------------------------------------ Fuking hell, that bad. bluebigeek.gif You cant help but can you?
-
But doesn't it say Tiago was used as bait in the essien move?

I thought it was beer bottles? Story changes everytime. Oh yeah, i forgot about the beer bottles from the bar across the road. All true, and you know it, if you dont your bullshitting or ashamed, but you'll probably blame the ambulance driver for driving the fuking thing anyway.
-
Belgravia were most interested when we were doing shite. Now we've picked up, we've heard nothing from them. Waiting until were weak enough?
-
Good post, tbh. Just about sums it up, but they'll never admit to any responsibility for anything. It's always down to someone else. Aye, fair enough i went OTT with a few things, and yes i am a little embarrassed how i went about things earlier, but that is me taking responsibility for my actions, something Liverpool fans need to learn how to do, but they never will, always passing the buck to someone else, always looking to be the moral crusader, fuking ridiculous.

End of the day, the deaths were as much fault of the drunke,n ticketless football hooligans known as Liverpool fans as it were that of the police, yet no one asks about their involvement or protests against them. But Liverpool scum will chase someone down the street for buying a Sun newspaper, or throw stones at an ambulance with a footballer inside with a broken leg, or sing Munich songs to the Mancs, or destroy OT and graffiti the ground with Munich shite. Classy as ever. So fuk anyone who supports these moaning miserable double standard arsholes.
-
You'd think tomorrow would be about the football, but it never is with Liverpool, there is always something else going on. Am sure the dead would rather just watch the game in peace, and watch Liverpool win without all this pointless bitter shit going on in the background.

it seems the "planners" don't have a "plan" or even a "plan B" Why are you banging on about a plan? Is this all you have to say? Pathetic tbh. Another NE5 super thread with NE5 talking utter shit and boring everyone to death. Well done you troll. I didn't mention "plan", I don't believe in such a thing, I think you just appoint the manager and let him do his job and work his own strategy and ideas and judgements. Back him in the transfer market too, very important. If you don't do this, you can appoint all the managers you like but when you appoint a good one they will piss off if you don't support them. This is an active decision a board of a football clubs makes ie whether to strive for success, or not. Newcastle United employed that "plan" for decades, but it was a shit plan and didn't succeed. In fact it only succeeded in bringing a half full stadium for decades and near bankruptcy and the 3rd divison before the inspired appointment of Keegan by a new regime, who was the idea of Dogless Hall, Shepherd and Fletcher. As for "troll", there are plenty of ideas, questions and debate put up here by me, if you are unable to accept them in a realistic light instead of thinking we are a mediocre club that qualifies regularly for europe and buys top international footballers - think about it - then its your problem, in fact I could think you are a troll for spouting nothing other than cliches and not listening to factual information when it is put in front of you. Was this not boring enough for you, you had to quote it again you boring boring old man? Was this boring enough for you, you uninformed boring little boy. Again back talking shit, god haven't you had enough of making a tit of yourself on these forums yet? Unfortunately, I think statements such as agreeing we are shit because we haven't made big signings less than a week into January, when nobody else has either, is making yourself look like a tit. Or someone spouting cliches because you don;t have a mind of your own. Similarly, you are unable to take into account the amount of money the club has generated, and spent, over a vast period of time, which is considerably less than dozens of other clubs with better boards that have also run clubs that have appeared in europe dozens more times than we have before trying to tell us that we have a shit board in comparison to all these clubs.  Who's the troll ie who's talking utter shite ? Your a walking talking cliche mate, in fact its painful to see you referring to Champ manager putdowns, its old hat, move on, get a life, you sad individual. Go back to your saddo ghost town boards, think of some more up to date insults and come back and play, ok? Tarra little man Well, shame but I think you should go back to your own little world where everything is perfect........ Once upon a time ............ If you try basing your "opinions" on fact instead of making things up and spouting comments just because others do, you might have better judgement. Question. Do you go to games ? If so, why, if you want rid of the board because you think they are so shit ? I can tell you now, and this is factual information, the last board at NUFC who were shit were got rid of because the ground was half full after spending decades of selling our best players and ending up with one foot in the 3rd division. So - the choice is yours. Your dad will tell you this is true. So - Stop going, and see if it brings a board who guarantee a board who will give you european qualification and trophies to match the only 4 clubs in the country who have done better than us in the last decade. Will you do it ? Do i want to get involved in a superbore super-board debate? Not really. I see your argument in practically every thread, but its boring, we all get where you stand, we have for months maybe years, but no one cares. It doesn't matter how many times your repost the same shit, people are not going to listen to you, even if you were the most righteous man on earth, everyone would rather give up supporting football (maybe even give up their lives) than agree with what you say. The despair squid of N-O tbh simple fact is, is that you don't want to because you have no factual reply, to both the posts and questions I have made. If someone like you could disprove the factual information I post, then I could not post it again. Fact. Enjoy your trip to fairyland and your Enid Blyton books. Simple FACT is, you'll twist any FACT or any comment to suit you are your boring argument. I simply don't have the patience nor the time to go into anything with you, nevermind your favorite boring subject. Its like banging your head off a brick wall with you, your like a woman tbh? Your not are you? blueeek.gif Would explain a fuking lot tbh!!! Repeated for a reply. =============== Question. Do you go to games ? So - Stop going, and see if it brings a board who guarantee a board who will give you european qualification and trophies to match the only 4 clubs in the country who have done better than us in the last decade. Will you do it ? come on then, as you are so knowledgeable and know what you are talking about, why not reply ? You want to know what i do? I'll tell you. I do not pay to go to matches anymore. I refuse to put any money into the club since FS & DH were caught snorting coke, shagging hookers and taking the piss out of us lot for paying over the odds for toon strips and other NUFC merchandise. I'm lucky however, 3-4 tickets a season come my way for free, but if they didn't, then i wouldn't go. I do not buy strips anymore, i do usually though get one for my Birthday each time as the launch of the new strip always seems to be at that time. I never buy anything from the club myself, but i'll happily take it if someone buys it for me. Until FS is removed from the club, that's the way it will be for me. Everyone says well if you want to hurt them, hurt them in the pocket, i'm just one of those rare souls who actually has and will continue to do so. I cannot help what happened in the past before me and my support, i was born 1981, my first match was about 1988, i really started going 1991 and kept going until FS was caught out. I really had no choice as my dad refused to go anymore, and i was still at school or college, but i agree with his principle, and will stick with it until the cunt has gone. That is my side of things, although i dont enforce my views or opinions on anyone, there as valid as yours will ever be. We all know the older NUFC fans had it hard, we all get that, i do know some you know, my family. But they can still see the club would be better off not having this vile leach sucking funds left, right & centre out of the club so he can buy more shares. Hopefully a brighter future is in store for Newcastle, but will you still be around having a pop at the like of my son who will hopefully have the chance to see NUFC win something because he wasn't there to experience the really bads times? I bet you would as well.

You are comparing it to WWII? Get a fuking grip will yer  No braincell of tyneside read what ive just said, that was in there apology. Of course no liverpool fan as ever compared to ww2 WWII lasted 6 years, this lasted longer. You are a muppet. All because some greedy Liverpool fans tried to squash themselves into a space they shoudn't of been in. If they had jobs they would have had proper tickets. That's bollocks. It was a factor but the authorities and the stadium were largely to blame for what happened that day. Greedy Scouse more than anything. If they weren't trying to get something on the knock off, none of this would of happened. And yet again, i did misread what you wrote, i do apologise. Hope you dont make a banner for me, i couldn't cope tbh. The police opened the gates to let people in to deal with the crush outside. Fans weren't then directed away from the already full middle section to the side sections. As the match was starting fans naturally went to the middle section as the entrance was straight ahead and the pitch was visible through that entrance. It all came out in the enquiry. Massive mistakes were made by those in charge on the day. I think it's about time they put it to bed but that's a different matter. I know, it was about 5 years ago but i studied the whole disaster for risk assesment in Health & Safety for my AVCE, and the fans wern't so blameless. The standard of the facility was shocking, and thats why i know the CCTV was equally if not more poor than the rest of it. The police couldn't cope, they made wrong decisions, but the fans took advantage, and knew that the police weren't in control.

CCTV was not a major thing back then, especially in a shit ground like that. I bet you there were incidents, it just couldn't be proved. Someone falls on the ground, someone see the opportunity to nab there wallet, you trying to tell me that there was no chance of that happening from a bunch of skint scouse known for robbing anything that isn't nailed down?

Because when the inquiry was held, they said they would refuse to look at anything which happened after 20 past three, as everyone who died was dead by then. However the mother of one of the 15 year olds, took out a private thing, and knows her son was still alive at 10 to four, but recieved no first aid and died. Its also for other things, in my opionion, if the game had been delayed for 30 minutes, no one wouldd have died, but the police took the decision to open one gate, and let everyone outside into one bit of the ground, even though this was already full, while the areas to the left and right were empty. The police officers in charge got no action took against them, and indeed most police officers got much much bigger payments for stress, than any of the injured or familys of the deceased got. So the protest is about money?
