It does actually (Rodri especially)

He's started to get backup to speed post injury, and we just happen to be much better for it.

We all thinking the break has come at the wrong time for us? Suppose had we lost then we'd be saying it was bad to break and stew. So basically int football is shit either way. I'm going to go with it's good for us. Planned break to Saudi.. Some nice warm weather, bit of sun and chance to keep working on those small changes.

Well I hope not, of course. Still think they get luck in these harder games more than most. Usually in that the in form opposition just don't turn up.

One of the worst ref performances I've seen in a long time. If it's incompetence then fair enough, shite and we move on. Felt far more sinister than that.

Him still there in the summer and palace relegated would be funny as fuck. Still think thry have too much about them though. Weird how their manager has dropped of a cliff though, he looked proper naughty coming in, with 2 players or so away from a very strong xi. Olisie is a huge loss. No doubt sbout it.

Millwall away, wba at home then sheff utd away to finish off November. All teams in good form and in playoff chasing position (at a min) 4pts would be very good at this point for them. Would see them lose top spot, but keep them chasing automatic promotion position.

Missing piece. Howe doing right by him in terms of minutes. Just need those kind of appearances to wear down the opposition.

Testing times for them mentally and questions as to whether they are genuine. Failed to beat Preston, QPR & Coventry (2 nil up at home will sting for a while), all of which you'd have thought they would have done so (if genuine). More favoured teams starting to pick up points/form and close the gap. Now the games come fast coming into xmas and then into the New Year. Looks like they may have shot their load a little too early. One thing is for sure, the crowd won't be able to handle the nerves and will turn as soon as a little bit of pressure comes their way.

A fair response to an admittedly emotionally charged post (can't even blame the drink, just in a shitty mood yesterday) I'm just disappointed tbh. In him, for us and for his family. All deserve better and he's really fucked it here. Worst of all, the last time wasn't the first, so no lessons learned (then yet again he's in and out of bars, pissed chatting lasses up) and he's getting everything that's coming to him, just a real shame everyone else suffers. This is why it's different from a normal 34 year old bloke. Yes his family suffer, but not 10,000's of people, isn't worth tens of millions to a company being paid millions a year, and therefore held to higher standard and accountability (should a 21 year old lad be held as a role model debate is for another time, but there we are, that's footballers and the world) imho. You just can't relate the two whether you want to or not.

Good point here for the mackems with Leeds not wanting promotion. Not been massively impressed, but it looks like they are well organised and keep going. They do also seem to get that luck this season, which you need regardless who you are.

Villa fans need taking down a peg or three, so happy to see some reality checks coming in. When it comes to villa vs the 6, I'll be backing them though.
