He also said it was happening in January

Right now, looking at what they've both done, Poch is the future and Rafa is the past. I think that excites me about Poch, however I am concerned how the wheels fell off at Tottenham and his almost standoff-ish approach to it. Almost like he either didn't care or didn't think it was his fault.
-
Correct. From the Gerrard stuff wasn’t it?
-
Very raw I think he needs way more coaching than Sean. Other way round for me. I think Matty has the most talent, and can be freerer to express it, Sean needs more discipline and intelligence which requires more support from coaching and players. Disagree I think Sean is way more talented. You’re looking at Shaun at 3 years ahead of Matty. Matty in 3 years will be further ahead than his brother now.

True and if they do we could always cash in on them Ashley style. Exactly. If the club outgrows them then so be it, we sell them and some superstar takes their place. If they keep up them we’ve got two local lads reaching the top of the game, but to get rid right now would be disastrous for the club, though the players themselves would benefit (club in current state)

Can't agree with that. They developed well under Rafa, and would do so again if Rafa returns or Pochettino comes in. One of them did and I thought at the time he was the real deal, I’ve since concluded he’s bang average though sadly, they both are. If we can afford to improve on them and that area, at their expense, tough. We need far better in there even now under Bruce and Ashley SD NUFC. Longstaff needs a proper coach, someone who will drill instructions in to him and those around so he knows what to do, what’s expected of him and others. Since Rafa has left he’s been told to run harder in training and enjoy yourself of the pitch. Top players do not develop in that kind of environment.
-
Longstaffs need to stay until they stop improving. They both got enough talent to be decent prem players, how far after that I don’t know. What I do know is playing & training with better players, in a winning team, with a top manager surrounded by top coaches in modern facilities is going to push that forward, quite the opposite to what they’re in now. More chance of growing wheat on the moon than young players Reaching their full potential here.

Lallana is also 32 and hasn’t played regularly for a couple of seasons. His best is behind him and if we’re looking to progress we should be signing better and younger. We've already got 2 young prospects in midfield and what they need is some guidance, and we certainly need some experience in there. It's about building a balanced squad rather than just a 1st team. If we could sell Shelvey and replace him for free with a player not going to spit the dummy if he doesn't play the majority of games then i think its a decent idea, especially if we're staying within FFP.
-
Dunk is massively underrated on here. He’s as good as Lejeune (who is always injured) and For me only Schar is better than him in our squad. If we’re off buying European stars we need a balance, even if it’s for registration. Lallana is far superior to shelvey and is on a free.

Would take Ings along with someone like Cavani. Ings scores goals at this level in this league in a team equally as bad as our current one. He’s a sure bet imo. Cavani although the better player may not adapt or might just hit that point where age catches up on him, so would be a bigger risk even for free. Together though we’d always have a threat. I’d hope we’d still look around for English/British talent. There’s about 4 players from Norwich I’d take for squad building, Bellingham, grealish, Ings, lallana (if we sell shelvey) Harry Wilson, dunk, mcneil etc...

I’m convinced he’s a mackem. Don't be silly. I just don't want to see people have their hopes ruined yet again this week due to the premier leagues incompetence. Alreet, Tubes / Fitz / CDM That's definitely who it is, I was going to point it out again the other day. It's so obvious every time he signs up again, just relentlessly fucking boring. Tedious wanker. Wouldn't mind if he didn't just come back as the same annoying, repetitive nob every time. That’s a pretty special effort, right there.

100% mackem

Next season won’t start in august.
-
Yup. Poch stuff is coming from his side (Ozzie) that’s something they have little control over. 99% certain it’ll be poch and before the end of the season, the other 1% is Rafa at the end of the season.
-
and that would have been against us

Heart says Rafa, head says Rafa. Wallet says Poch

A bit like British and European fishing zones, obviously we are the disgusting foreign fish and they and the hardcore ‘Bally’ British Cod Defending the honour of queen and country (royal family are MLF don’t you know) With the whitest of white flesh, none of your pink salmon shit here. Of course they’d have much more supporters if it wasn’t for the eu and having to throw back millions of MLF (massive lads fish) back in the sea they’d be the biggest team on earth.

'oh you brought a towel for my hands, cheers. Though we usually just leave them on the table.'

They’ll all find some tenuous Made up link to Liverpool, Like how they offered the red and white stripes to them but Liverpool only took the red and said keep the white our football friends of the north, if we ever need it we will be in touch. FTM.
-
Of course. Though forgiveness costs freedom to move in and out of the homeland and a million dollar house. They’ve been bought, with money and their lives (I can only imagine There is a real threat to them if they didn’t toe the party line) Their price for that has been set, ours yet to come for success. It does however for me at least dilute the narrative the NUFC fans should be ashamed to allow them in to the club for the sake of trophies. Aye, he hasn't even had to make our fan base the offer it couldn't refuse because it's already been dom'ed into spreading its arse cheeks for anyone who isn't Ashley. Understandably so and probably one of the reasons they chose us. The club has been lubed up ready to take whatever comes next, as long as it’s not Ashley. NE5 was a good decade ahead of the rest of us, imagine that.

They want £80m, even if they go down. He’s not worth it if we’re sticking to ffp, but if we could do a deal around 50 I think it would be smart business. End of villa as a prem team though, even if they stay up.
