At any other club you would understand it. Sell player, invest in better. However we all know it doesn’t happen here. If you think the squad is in a shit state now imagine what it would be like if we didn't sell a few players for good money. I'm sure there would have been even less spending if we didn't get decent money for our bigger outgoings. Alternatively, imagine the squad if we hadn’t sold them. Swings and roundabouts. Well our captain is most people's 4th choice on here so we're not missing much. Most sided with Rafa over Mitrovic, everyone laughed at the sissoko fee and no one was really arsed about windgum either. Some of our biggest fees have been for players we aren't arsed about. Recently thauvin and mbabu left for next to nowt, if lascelles went for & 10m I'm sure people will care.

Looks like the tide has turned against him on here, so come January and with Lejuene coming back plus our array of centreback's i'm guessing the majority wouldn't be too fussed if he was sold to strengthen other areas. So, how much are we happy with? £35m? More?

If true i don't see why he should be forced to accept a relegation clause in there. If you wanted the club it was available in the summer, no games played and full window ahead. Now the season is in flow, it is what it is, accept it and buy it, wait till next summer or stop wasting everyone's time, including the fans. Won't be true though.

I'd have went with Smith, so probably some obscure recent-ish player that is escaping everyone's memory

Diame, Joselu, Ritchie, Kenedy, Ayoze have all been afforded that luxury. But I get what you're saying, however if it's forced upon us the pressure would be off and he may be given a bit more leeway.

Needs an enforced run in the team. 5-6 full games covering an injury, think people's opinion of him would change with a bit of confidence and exposure in him.

Fuck him.

Fuck it, I'm in. It's more fun believing than being pessimistic and correct. Roll on 5th December. 5 is my lucky number, and I like December.
-
Well I'm glad to have chosen to believe.

CR is hit and miss he could come in and be great for a bit then it goes wrong or it goes wrong from the start and they go down. He never has a spell where he's doing well at one club for a while, but I suppose Fulham are just looking short term right now

I like the lad. Hopefully his off field issues are starting tog et sorted and he can get back in contention. We all have our moments. I was fizzing with him at Cardiff knowing he wanted to leave as well, but now with clarity I'd rather him stay and fight for his place.

No. Oh, so law or just not a done thing? Either way this has either been done without it or dd done in secrecy... How did we all know about it last time? Of course the other option is not at all... But I'm in a believing mood today

Qq.. Can a company buy due diligence reports from another company? Say a new buyer came in but wanted it done quick, could thry just offer to buy the reports from a previous bidder then investigate the last year or so where its out of date?
-
Dunno, timing is shite. 2 wins and int break and next game is away... He doesn't need to leak owt, pressure is off for a while anyway. I'm choosing to believe it, Kenyon has found his backers and it's happening.

Wonder how his form reacts when his boss is sacked? Looks like it’s only a matter of time now before it happens. Wonder if he sulks and starts acting up?

Great news. Was worried about that 3rd spot but Wor Al comes out and saves us again.

if he doesn't get any backing this january and keeps us up it will be absolutely remarkable tbph Not really when Cardiff, Huddersfield and Fulham are so shite you've just named 2 teams that have backed their manager to the tune of something like £100m more than rafa each on the players they've got it will be an amazing achievement imo Huddersfield have spent £100m more than us? Genuine question. We've won 2 games and we're 14th The bottom of the league is complete shit this season. I think we'll be comfortable again Fair enough, presume our wage bill is probably higher than theirs though I severely doubt it if youre paying 17m plus for a player his wages are going to be higher than a guy who costs 5m its only natural really and if we are giving 5m chumps 50 or 60k a week then our club is ran by even bigger fuckwits than I thought Problem is we have loads of average players on much more than they deserve. When they leave we end up taking a hit on the fee but also end up paying a bulk of their wages. We'll be still paying players who left 2 seasons ago. For once we also pay our manager handsomely.

Best all-round goalkeeper i've seen at this club.

Austin gannin' wild.

7, but the best ive felt all season. Like Decky has pointed out, plenty of possible points between now and boxing day, if we get to 20pts by the turn of the year i'll be down to a 3.

Sending off and a pen in our favour today. its probably 50,000/1
