Could be competition, for me I think it’s the reaction he got from the fans after his Ashley comments. He probably felt attacked, then it later sunk in he’d let us down. Probably a mix of anger towards us and himself with a large dose of self pity. Only thing he can do is to turn it around on the pitch and take his game up a notch, words are pretty meaningless from him right now.

Don't think he's finished but he isn't at the forefront of management and needs to take a step backwards in terms of clubs (maybe even retire in to International Football) and go somewhere he's respected, appreciated and loved, warts n all. Depressing to think for the likes of Hayden, Ashley is all he's ever known supporting the club. At that age I had the Halls keegan, shearer signings, fa Cup finals.. Success and pride can be achieved through making the correct decisions and investing in the correct areas at the right time.
