As the song goes....2 nil up and you went and fucked it up, went and fucked it up...

Him strolling around in training is nowt new, it's why most of the senior players were pissed off at him by the time he left here. With cabaye gone he had no one authorative to protect him. He came to hull, a team that needed to fight for their lives and strolled around there as well then quickly given the boot as its not the character they needed in a relegation fight. You can imagine Bruce seething at seeing that kind of effort, doesn't really matter what he can do with a football in his eyes. Nice was perfect for him ,they'd forgive him time and time again because he was by far their best player even on an off day. At psg the calibre of player means you've not only got to have talent, but you've got to want it apply it at all level at all times. Anything else isn't acceptable. You'd hope for his sake the fact he's playing for the team he supported as a boy would see him give that extra 10% if not more, but looks like it's not made much difference. Shame really, he battled back from that big injury just to let it all pass by him without much of a fight. Saying all that, I'd still have him back here, not sure Rafa would, exactly the wrong type of character we've filled the dressing room of late and exactly the opposite of what Rafa has been looking for.

Only himself to blame with daft comments like that. It came back to haunt him, lesson learned. Tbh they've saved him a lot of soul destroying misery every week, so he should also be grateful.

He'll be requesting a transfer to a bigger club at this rate.

We not scored yet?

He shouldn't be reporting on all things Sunderland when he clearly detests the club and it's fans? If the roles were reversed and it was a Sunderland fan reporting on Newcastle I'd say the same. So Louise Taylor .

Yup. Should have signed a big contract at Nice, lived in a lovely part of his home country and be loved by the fans. Instead he chased the money and fame, and while at his very best he's good enough for psg, it's what he brings the rest of the time which is questionable. As soon as questions are asked of him he never recovers mentally and just slips away. It would be great to see him battle back and show his quality, but it already sounds like it's over for him there. People joke but you could actually see him back here, he's crazy enough, it's just whether Rafa feels he can get the best out of him or not. Better to reign in hell than serve in heaven.

Did Everton not bid £18m for him in the summer, and Sunlun turned it down?? Apparently. But they weren't relegated then,in the same position next year and they can refuse. Tbh I think they'll regret turnibg it down.

Kong signs a new deal. (apparently) £90kpw and £18m relegation release clause. Not too shabby all round.

Nice win to put us top and stay there for the rest of the season. (I hope)

Too early to get his face tattoo'd on my face?

From all the noise you hear about Moyes at Sunderland the players absolutely hate him. Fans aren't too far off either. Guessing him slating his defence then saying he's going to have a go at them and ask them why they can't do their jobs properly will change that.

Reminds me of a young college dropout.

He's blatantly going out for the draw, could see it backfiring and them sneaking a goal with the team not setup to pull it back round. Too many fragile characters on the pitch. Unless his group of lads, playing bingo and pub quiz bollocks gives them something they are missing then that will continue.
-
I'd be delighted if he turns his ankle playing for France and misses the 6 cl games Spurs have this year and never have again for the time he's there. Should have joined Celtic.
-
It's the same as this. Probably happens more often than we know only people are that in disbelief we got £30m they are trying to twist things to justify it.
-
Can see them two on Skype from the boardroom eager and bouncing off the walls all day desperate to respond while Rafa is sitting there feet up, enjoying a tipple telling them to wait, calm down and I've got this.
-
Be great if no one at Everton is telling him the Spurs bid is on the table and he only finds out about if after he signs. Imagine the face in the press conference the next day knowing he missed out on cl football by an hour.
-
£35m to Spurs, £30m to Everton would be my stance.

If they don't go down this season I think we'll just have to accept that they never will. That squad is barbaric! Papy and dong replace kaboul & mvila who were two of their best players second half of the year. Saying that they've got a hard working team there with spirit you simply cannot buy and because of that you can never write them off. They'll be in another fight first half of the season but imo if they stick it out with moyes it'll slowly get better and better for them.
