Instantly had one of the many mackem at work pipe up about this. Asked him when's he getting his tee shirt printed? God I hate working in Sunderland
-
He will be a good addition to a very flat squad. Shelvey and him are good signings in our situation, not sure about the other guy, reeks of us trying to buy on the cheap. One of be Remy or Berainho would be some great options for us in the final two thirds however if we leave the back as it is then we're still going to struggle.
-
I'd have him back with open arms but would like it to be permenant.

At the very best...Jesus that puts us on 38pts, were running out of games to save ourselves, it's going to be down to others very soon.
-
They could stop going.

Down. Still we insist on not buying a LB and a CB. Well done cunts.

Oh look Sunderland sign another former Newcastle player / Geordie coz it's worked fucking wonders over the last few years. Agent harper etc... BTW what a cunt. Can't believe I broke my sjp amnesty for his testimonial.

Not a big fan of goalkeeper captains.

Colo was faultless till almost Christmas as well.

I'd rather throw £14m at Stoke to see if we can entice Shawcross up here.
-
Can see us getting saido then selling perez to spurs with Townsend coming the other way. Probably end up with two players for the price of one, and tiote money paying the bulk of shelvey

From my point of view that makes it worse. he could be an okay player if grew a pair of balls He's spent his whole life playing it safe (after being coached and trained to do so) it's ingrained in him, no chance he'll change now.

Might as well go for bony. Don't think city would let him go unless they could replace him. I can see us end up with a stop gap for now. Citeh aren't arsed about him, he wants more football than they can offer and they want more quality than he can offer. It's over, he either moves now on in the summer.

If we spend £25m on a player this window you'll have to scrape me off the walls as I'll explode with excitement. Ashley must be shitting himself.
-
Fuck it, played himself in to a clean slate for me. No doubt he'll drop a clanged next game and I'll hate the fucker again.

Correct, but he has it in him to be just that. That remains to be seen. I hope you're right. Actually his general all round play outside the penalty area was really good but he's an awful finisher. I always think a strikers instinct is one thing you can't teach someone. I think he's got that instinct, but is lack confidence and form whilst having to step up in a much tougher league when his team is doing shite. It's a hard place to shine. Think once the team turns round we will see a lot more from him including goals. In the future it'll be him grabbing games by the scruff of the neck and dragging players across the line. But all that is just games away from him, we've got to stick by him, keep him on the pitch and reap the rewards when it finally all clicks.

Need to try and stick it out with Mitro. If he wasn't making any impact and not getting chances then i'd be worried. On the other hand when this goes 2-2 and we then wonder WTF we are doing relying on such a young lad for goals.

just make it 2-2 and get this over with
